  2. I really like to play this game in 3d now. however, the croshair isn't working properly when using gunsight, did I do something wrong installing the fix. I have the retail version.

But still: amazing improvement! It's a fun game now to play in 3D, thanks!!

    1. Its hard to use gun sights with increased convergence setting if thats what you mean. Around an hour into game you should have both mini gun/sniper rifle . That way you dont have to use gun sights.
If you mean something else give me a picture on 3d vision live so I can see what you mean.

    2. Oh were you talking about the Assault Rifle's gun sight? Yeah thats busted. Just fixed it.
Unreal engine is a pain at times to fix. You have to play through it twice, once to fix, once to recheck for mistakes. Like fixing fog, could break a gun(which is what happened).

  3. I got used to aiming just an inch to the left :-)

The only real pronlem was the part with the gas-mask, did that in 2D.

But great game to play in 3D!!!

    1. Thanks for the feedback.
Yeah they put the gun as close as possible to the "camera"/screen depth. So it made aiming difficult on the certain weapons. Gas Mask I tried finding the individual shader and spent an hour and was like this an't worth it. But all in all I'd rate it as excellent.

  4. I would definately rate the game as excellent now. Kind of funny, 3D makes this game really shine. It was great just to walk and look around. (If only I could do the same in Bioshock, (sigh))

    1. Bioshock Infinite is using Unreal engine 3 -_o

Too bad bioshock 1-2 is U.E 2.5 and is messy as hell.

    2. Errr...
That sounded like a promise lol.
I will do my best with it(if I can get it to work) if no one who could do a better job is interested. Though I am proud of my U.E.3 games.

  5. Update log.

Fixed shadows a bit more. Should only clip on fire scene in opening, if you follow instructions and adjust convergence based on gun sights.
Added key buttons to enable/disable fix for gas mask scene.
Fixed assault rifle/other gun so its easier to use gun sights.
    Fixed an additional effect.
    Added recommended settings.

  7. I can't seem to save the gun sights convergence settings. I can adjust them separately, but after hitting CTRL+F7 to save them they revert back to normal the next time I bring up the sights.

While button mashing I did manage to save SOME changes but it just looks worse, I don't understand how to save my changes.

    2. I have CTRL+F7 hardcoded to save 3d settings in the ndvidia control panel. Do you have advanced settings activated?

    3. No listen.

3d vision saves a profile right? CTRL F7
Helix's dll saves A DIFFERENT PROFILE. With just f7.

You find what you want to do for out of gun sights then save it with ctrl f7.
Hold down right click and find what you want and save with F7.

    4. Thanks, I understand. It doesn't seem to work consistently. I've tried hitting F7 while holding down RMB, after letting go, before and after, hitting it rapidly.... doesn't seem to have an effect.

Can you tell me where the profile is saved so I can manually tweak the convergence setting?

  8. Yeah, I have the same problem as Unknown. I click the right mouse button, the depth slider goes to the max, I change the settings while holding the right button, and I press F7 (and yes, while holding the right mouse button). OK. But if I let go of the right mouse button and press it again, the depth slider resets itself to max all over again. I don't know what to do. :(
