Pid

This is another great platform game....the 3D its really great and its more challenging than "The Cave"....still remember trying to beat "The Crook" like 10 times.

Improvements:
- Pop-up HUD elements, now more confortable.
- Remove some shaders (dust/blurry stuff) in order to benefits 3D.

Instructions:
- Extract the content of the .zip where pid.exe is
- Maybe you have to use CTRL+F11 (Cycle frustum), happens one time to me when load the game with the fix....i'm still looking why this happens, maybe its dll.....have a lot of issues with dll's in this game.

    1. Can you attach some screenshot. I dont have any light issues (i play 50% of the game, maybe its further in game).
      Do you have HUD pop-out?

Here you can see some SS with lights and all render correctly

    2. Long_johnson...try also to delete dx9settings.ini and try again. Like i put in comments, this game for some reason have some problems with dll (example separate textures), sometimes crashes, sometimes do nothing.

  3. Hi there! I'm a huge fan of all the work you do! Huge! You've literally made 3d technology 100% more appealing to me. That aside, small issue, after I copy the files to the directory in this game, I get nothing but a blank screen and music after the loading screen. If i remove the files it works fine. Likely something on my end but i thought that you might have some idea as it happens to a couple of games after I move the mod files to the directory.

    1. Sadly I still can't get it to work. But thanks for trying! It's likely a driver issue, but newer drivers break my archaic 3d vision setup. I guess I'll wait on this one.

    2. Is this with Steam versions? Try one more thing, delete the GameOverlayRenderer.dll from your Steam directory. They introduced a new patch about a month ago that ruins our ability to disable the steam overlay and avoid crashes. Doesn't sound like your problem, but maybe.

Also try deleting the ShaderOverride folder and the DX9Settings.ini, and load with just the d3d9.dll to see if that by itself works.
