    1. Its beautiful/atmospheric/great art design/awesome in 3D.
It can be very frustrating as far as gameplay/design.

If you heard of alice the madness returns. Both this game and that are beautiful 2D/3D games. But gameplay themselves can be a challenge.

    2. To sum it up. Its a game I admired more then enjoyed.

  2. Thanks so much for the work. As soon as I started playing ZC2 I immediately thought, this has enough close action to be good in 3D. Amazed at how fast you got the patch out. Just finished single player and the patch made it all the better.

    1. I actually released it like 3 days too early lol. And kept trying to patch it every day lol.

Glad you like it though. I really fell in love with style/beauty but tbh gameplay leaves something to be desired. It was worth buying just because I feel the developers have a vision and not too many developers are willing to take risks these days.

  3. After the latest patch my game keeps crashing (or locking up) right at the beginning. The tutorial works fine though (but it's got some issues in 3D which I'm not sure if Helix tried and hence didn't know to fix).

  4. Hmm. it seems to be the PhysXCore.dll that seems to be the cause for the crashes. The game comes with it's own PhysX installer but it's way older than the one that comes with the latest nVidia drivers so I really wouldn't wan't to install that just for this game...I'll try to run it with 3D Vision disabled and see if it's the cause for the problems.

  5. Well it crashes even with 3D Vision disabled so it's not the Helix mod's fault so sorry for that. Tried different PhysX versions but the problem still persists so I don't know what else to do. Sorry for these posts as they don't actually have anything to do with this mod after all. Thanks for your hard work as always.

    1. Actually never mind, found out that turning PhysX to CPU in the nVidia control panel fixed the crash/freezing issues. So if anyone else is experiencing similar problems should try that out as well. The Helix/eqzitara fix works wonderfully so thanks for that once again!

    2. Theres supposed to be an installer at the end of every udk game that installs what it needs. But just make sure you turn that back on when done. Physx to cpu is intensive[Its why amd users complain]

  6. Hey there!
I know this game is ages old, but just decided to give it a try. Can't make 3D fix to work, though. I've managed to make it kick-in by using d3d9.dll from Betrayer fix, but shadows and fog are misplaced greatly if I add a little bit of depth (tweaking convergence). And with default convergence I can't tell the difference between 2D and 3D.
    Any ideas?
    P.S. Please, don't kill me :)

    1. Thanks, Robert. But I already did all of that plus some more :) I've read that original developer implemented 3D Vision support in 2015. However, their support far from being ideal. Shadows, fog, god rays - many things are wrong either with "native" 3D or Helixmod fix... :/

    2. Im guessing the update broke it which there is no solution other then downloading an old version.

    3. Thanks for suggestion, Robert! Will try finding older version :)

    4. Hell yeah! Zeno Clash 2 v1.03 works LIKE CHARM with this fix! Thanks again, Robert! ;)

    5. I confirm that the 1.04 version breaks some shadows. Not completely terrible, but not as good. I had 3D go terrible, then an off/on reset it back to OK.

  8. Hello Dude, i am desperately trying to make this work on Asus PG278Q / RTX 2070. I am using the latest 3Dfixmanager and i have experience with 3DVision, however i can't get 3D to kick in. I see a persistent stereo image rather than a flickery and ultimately working one. I tried changing everything but i could not geth the depth effect to kick in. Could you check it out? I am a fan of Zeno Clash 1 like you as well. Cheers
