The Last Remnant - New Version

The Last Remnant
Eqzitara / Eincrou

The red text in preview will not show in game. It was enabled to show how new feature works
Update 09/12
NEW FEATURE ADDED: Game will automatically change depth/convergence based on Cinematics / Combat / Travel
Updated:
Shadows, lighting, effects, hud, optimizations, etc
Issues Remaining:[Did not play full game]
Very minor.

To change default cinematic depth/convergence. Click F3 then adjust, save with F7
To change default travel depth/convergence. Click F4 then adjust, save with F7
To change default combat depth/convergence. Click F5 then adjust, save with F7
[You may need to relaunch game once for new settings to apply. If you wish to change/disable/have a question about this feature read this GUIDE]

Never thought Id see the day when I played a 3D J-RPG. I did not play full game but I would be surprised if any major issues arise. Games like these are massive though so a few minor issues may occur but I doubt anything major.
Last Remnant demo is available on STEAM.

  2. I'm off topic here, but anyone know how to enable 3D Vision for System Shock 2? It has a profile, rated Good. But it stays in 2D mode whether I toggle 3D or not. I get the Nvidia rating when I start, and I see 3D Vision toggled reticle, but no 3D for game. Maybe I'm not doing something obvious...

  4. Darn, tried to see if this fix would work on FFXIV:ARR (since they are both made by SquareEnix) on the 0.000001% chance it would work, and of course that was a no go.

*cough* hint about a game that desperately needs a fix *cough* ;)

  5. Hello everyone! Do not tell me?
Somewhere already laid out the correction for the game "OUTLAST"?
    Thank you!

  6. Ah, this is nice! Thanks Eq! It looks like the reflections are having issues in The Ancient Ruins and probably some other places with shiny floors but that's not much of an issue.

What does get a little problematic is the interface. There's a TON of it! Having all those characters flailing around means there's a lot of pop out trying to pop out through the screen-depth interface. Is there any way to squeeze the interface width then pop it out of the screen a few inches?

    1. I dont plan to return to it but you can save a seperate depth/convergence setting to..
      gameplay
      cinematics
      battles
It sounds like your complaint is battles. Reduce your convergence settings on it.

  7. Hi,

thanks for the Patch. It looks realy good. But i don't know if it's just my system or the NVIDIA Drivers. Maybe latest patch of the game. But if i use your patch it ends with tlr.exe stopped working messages after 35-30 Minutes of Playing. That starts anoying.

I tried lot of fixes on the internet, cause i thought it would be a game issue itselb but nothing worked. Deactivated Steam Overlay. Run as Admin and in Win XP Compatibility Mode, customized the game ini's, changed to windowed Mode, and so on. The only thing that worke, was to remove the files of your package. Now i could play for 3 Hours without experiencing any crash.

    System Specs:
    Windows 10 Enterprise x64
    Intel i7 4770k
NVidia GeForce 1070 GTX with 8 GB VRAM
    16 GB Ram DDR3
    Latest Nvidia Driver used (376.33)
I think something is not working with the latest graphics driver anymore.

    Sincerely,
    JasonX
