Removed: Camera lens full screen effect [2D effect didn't look good in 3D]
Game preorder comes with an early build so was able to patch it prior to release like Deadliest Warrior. Will probably play it and update it some time after release.
Required Instructions
Go to.. C:\Users\...\Documents\my games\UnrealEngine3\QuadForceGame\QuadForceEngine.ini
Change
AllowNvidiaStereo3d=False
to
AllowNvidiaStereo3d=True
Install to..\TinyBrains\Binaries\Win32\
Shaderoverride

Hi I want to thank you for all your hard work on these games and I was hoping I could request a game for you to look at, Rome 2.
ReplyDeleteI love the game Rome 2 Total War, and all the units etc. look awesome in 3d. The game does have some fairly major issues in 3d though. All of them can be either ignored or fixed by lowering shadow settings etc. except for one. The ground textures seem to swim before your eyes as you move around the map or zoom in our out etc. It actually is somewhat nauseating and doesn't seem ti be fixable by changing any of the in-game settings.
I was hoping maybe you had a way to fix that. The game is awesome, and like I said the thousands of units on the map look amazing in 3d and if the ground could be fixed it would possibly be the best looking game in 3d ever, (at least in my opinion).
Thanks and thanks again for all the hard work you do for all of us 3d gamers. By the way is there any way to donate to you on PayPal as a way to show appreciation for what you do?
By the way the maps I am talking about with the swimming ground textures are the battle maps, not the campaign map. When I am on the campaign map I simply Ctr-t and turn off 3d till the battles come up. The 3d for the campaign map is really not all that important, its the battle maps where the 3d is striking and makes such a difference.

I didn't mean to spam the wrong game, but since it seams you can only comment on specific games, I guess this is as good a place as any to make a request.
DeleteI see Tony Birt above mentioned being willing to buy you a steam key for Rome 2. I would be willing to help him out with half the cost if you have a way to donate through paypal. And actually if it is possible to donate I would like to anyway all the extra enjoyment I have gotten out of X-Com, Fallout, Mass Effect, and Skyrim just to name a few means in my eyes I owe you :) actually probably a lot more then I could even afford to donate heh.
