Singularity

Fixed:
- various halos
- shadows
- UI & HUD depth (including crosshair)

Remaining Issues:
- film projector & flashlight look a little incorrect (minor issue)

Installation:
  1. Download this ZIP file and extract the contents into "../Singularity/Binaries/"
  2. Use Nvidia Inspector to assign "Singularity.exe" to the profile "Mass Effect". (For instructions on how to assign profiles, see this guide)
Recommended Settings:
  • In the "Mass Effect" profile, set Antialiasing compatibility to 0x00000045.  
  • Set SLI compatibility bits to 0x02402005
  • Run the game, and in the Video Options menu, disable Depth of Field and Distortion.

Additional Notes:
  • Press F2 for Medium-high depth HUD  / UI
  • Press F3 for High depth HUD / UI
  • Press F4 to remove the Crosshair. (Don't press F4 until in-game (past the main menu) as this will cause some menu items to disappear.) To re-enable the crosshair, press either F2 or F3.
  • Press Tab to decrease the depth setting (to make it easier to aim using the sniper rifle scope)

  1. Hi. I have an issue, when you use the right mouse button to zoom it changes the focal distance, and it takes your eyes a few seconds to adjust. this is disruptive to immersion, and is pretty annoying. Is there a way to make that not happen? Thanks for the fanatastic work. GB

    1. Hold down the right mouse button & adjust the depth & convergence to your liking. Save the setting by pressing 'F7'. You may need to restart the game for any changes to take effect.

      Or to disable this feature altogether, open the "DX9Settings.ini" file and where it says "PresetsKeysList = 0;1;2;3;4;5;6;7;8;9;10;" delete "0;" So the line should look like this: "PresetsKeysList = 1;2;3;4;5;6;7;8;9;10;". Let me know if you're still having issues with this game.

  3. Hi. What I would like to do is to be able to modify the Tab setting that came with your fix, so that when I use Tab I have almost zero (instead of reduced) depth setting. This would be best for me for the sniper rifle. Is there a way for me to modify that? Thanks very much for your help - GB.
