I Am Weapon: Revival

Not a bad little twin-stick shooter. Surprisingly nice graphics, dynamic lighting, and really nice aesthetics that look like they are pulled right out of a Tim Burton movie. Good thing it looks so good, though, because there's quite a few gameplay design issues that I'm not a fan of, such as infinite respawning enemies (that, worst of all, can and will spawn behind you), unable to rebind controls, and also:

Unfortunately that meme is not an exaggeration. Anyway, I think the pro's slightly outweigh the cons and make it a worthwhile game to play for some mindless violence & decent visuals if you can pick it up on the cheap. Also, even though it's a twin stick shooter, I recommend playing with a keyboard and mouse for more accurate aiming. You'll most likely need it!

Instructions

1. Download fix: HERE
2. Unzip file to game directory where IAmWeaponRevival.exe exists
3. Add IAmWeaponRevival.exe to 3D-Hub Video Player using Nvidia Inspector
4. Add launch option "-window-mode exclusive" without the quotes
5. Recommend increasing convergence until cursor is aligned with character's head.

Tools used for this fix:

-3DMigoto DX11 wrapper
-DarkStarSword's Unity 5.3 template

  1. Do you ever post your fixes over in the devs Steam forums letting their customers about this sweet optional 3D fix? Just curious as I'm sorta always having an eye out for little ways to help spread the word about your site and 3D in general tbh.

    1. Me, personally, I do occasionally post in a Steam forum to promote the fix, but not always. Generally more for bigger games that I work on than the smaller ones. I'm sure there are other fixers on this site that don't bother as well, so I think that's a great idea and great way to get involved and provide support! Head on over to a Steam forum for a game that you want to promote, do a quick search for "3D Vision" to see if anything comes up already, and if not then all the power to you to go ahead and make a post of your own! Even better if you've played the game/fix and can provide a brief user review on things that really stand out in 3D.

You're more than welcome to start here with this game, as I have not yet gone ahead and posted it anywhere but here. Cheers!

    1. I recently finished Dark Souls 2 SOTFS, and now am into the original Dark Souls (which I nabbed for a mere 5 bucks on Steam). Next may well be Fallout 4, so I'll be busy for a while with what's already here ;-).

    2. And thank you for taking a moment to let us know you're enjoying our work! Sounds like you've got some glorious gaming moments ahead of you, especially with the original Dark Souls. I finally got around to a full playthrough of that in the summer, and that was equally if not more enjoyable than anything I've played since it's release. A timeless classic that playing in S-3D truly amplifies the experience. Prepare to die! (and love it)
