  1. I probably wont get this game. but wanted to ask dont patches break 3d fixes most of the times? Im sure they will update this game a few times. Either way thanks for your hard work.

    1. Frostbite 3 Engine based games are less likely to be broken by a Patch.
So far none have been broken by all the patching they did:
      - BF4
      - SW:Battlefront
      - DA:Inquisition

  7. Whatever I do, I can't get this to work. I get objects randomly rendered in wrong places all the time, I tried everything, it doesn't matter what I do. I'm using 3dtv play, is that a problem?

    1. Be sure you are not forcing VSYNC (or the driver is not setting VSYNC ON) or another tool is not setting VSYNC ON.
That is the problem explained above when VSYNC is set to ON ;)

    2. Should be there, don't know. I don't have this game, so I cannot tell for sure.

Why do you need the game .ini file? The .ini file in the instructions is referring to the 3Dmigoto d3dx.ini that comes with the fix.

    4. Thank you very much, I had no idea that the ini file is from 3dmigoto d3dx.

  12. i put all the files into battlefield 1 folder is that right?

  13. The same happens to me the screen gets very big and the resolution and hz matches the game some other solution please

  14. The fix works but my game starts in a very high zoom mode. My monitor res is 1440p. This fix seems to be meant only for 1080p. How do I change this fix to work with 1440p ???

    1. I figured out. open d3dx.ini and find overrides screen resolution and remove ";" and set width=2560
      height=1440. that will do

  15. Sorry if my question is stupid: could I be seen by EA as a cheater using these fixes ? Is it modifying shaders or data of the game ?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. It is always possible. We haven't yet seen an example where people have been banned in any game, but we just don't know what they will deem a hack.

We do not modify any data of the game. But, we do modify the shaders, replacing them with versions that fix the 3D problems.

      No guarantees.

  16. Hi, as of now (September 2017) the fix is kind of obsolete. The game starts in 3D but it behaves strange. On left eye there some textures are missing on right eye they are not - in certain part of map. It makes gaming uncomfortable. Do you mind to try it and do an update? Anyway good work.

    1. Latest drivers have sucked, roll back to older drivers where the one-eye problems haven't shown up.

    2. What version is the older drivers?

  17. Hi guys,

This is a fix for the Sky bug (sky texture not fitting all your screen space).
Just override these files over the main fix on first page.
I added the Key 0 (zero) on the dx3d.ini that cycles the Sky stretch factor if you need to. Anyway the default value (y = 1.14) is enough, sky is propably fixed out of the box for all.

    Have fun!

    1. Not positive this is the right file, but I added an AltLink above to the file off Helifax's 3DSurroundGaming site. Be worth knowing if it works for you.
