Divinity Original Sin - Enhanced Edition (Update 12.05.2018) V5.30

Introduction get it working:
- uninstall old fixes!!!
- download and extract the fix archive to "...\Divinity Original Sin Enhanced Edition\Shipping"
- (if you like SweetFX modifications you can also copy the content of the "Optional_SFX" folder to the Shipping directory, its a working SFX version with this fix (for me!))
- NOTE: I recomment to use the fix as it it, do not change the HUD-DEPTH ... the font is the problem, you will need manualy adaption if you change the hud Depth
---- if you like to change depth and convergence please set your values for the keys that markd as "Standard" in the d3dx.ini in the
- Press U (using Keyboard/Mouse controlling) or XB_GUIDE (using Controller) to set the right depth for controller or keyboard usage after starting the game the first time or after pressing F10!

Ingame Settings:
- everything you like (...i think...)

Key Settings (Controller):

Standard Gaming Depth and Hud
XB_GUIDE

Dialog Depth - also suitible for menues
XB_GUIDE + hold down 0,3 sec
or
XB_LB+XB_RB

Key Settings (Keyboard/Mouse):

Standard Gaming Depth and HUD
"U"
(also W, A, S, D)

Dialog Depth
"Z"

ToggleAutoMouseDepth

"X"

Key Setting - Customization
if you dont like the settings the fix comes with, you have to find your own likes, choose your desired separation, convergence and HUD-DEPTH in the game
- to see your convergence/separation set
[Hunting]
hunting=1
in d3d11.ini and press F10 to see the current separation/conv. Set it to 0 if finished (Press F10 again or resart the game) -- BE AWARE of pressing other keys of the NUM-PAD while hunting is enabled.
- Find a suitible separation/convergence/HUD depth
(HINT: HUD DEPTH and SEPARATION: this can breake the HUD because of the font, its highly recommented to use the hud/game depth as it is .... only advanced users....you have to scale the o1.x and o0.x values in the 5a2af031441c9510-vs_replace.txt in dependency of using Controller or Keyboard and in dependency of the separation!!!
- edit the d3dx.ini
- set your desired Separation and Convergence for keys named "Standard" as well as HUD depth (x=...) ... do not change x3 and z2 !!!!!

  1. It works!! the black screen is gone and it looks so good, unfortunately the performance hit is too high for me at this moment, so I'll stick with TriDef 3D fake mode until I'm able to upgrade my GPU. Thanks!!

    1. Update: recently found out about the 3Dmigoto "UpscalingShader" feature that allows you to upscale any game resolution to your native display resolution (e.g. from 1080p to 4K), this way I was finally able to reach 60 fps. Be aware, though, that besides editing the d3dx.ini file, you'll need to replace the d3d11.dll file with the one provided in the latest version of 3Dmigoto, otherwise, the game will crash or a black screen will result.

  3. It now works for me too! Before all i got was a plain color texture, no scenary, no characters, nothing, thanks a lot Losti. Whatever you did here, can you do it also on DOS2? It suffers from the same problem than the previous patch, at least for me.

    1. I do not own the game yet, its much too expensive in my eyes atm, only to bye for fixing. You can simply check if a new MIGOTO will do the job, copy the d3d11.dll drom the DOS1 fix to the DOS2 directory where you have copyed the DOS2 fix and start the game. May be there will be some beeping sounds caused by the wrong ini but if MIGOTO does the trick i can make a ini from thix fix for the new migoto version.

    2. I'll give it a try and see what happens :)

    3. You can also use the ini from the DOS1 fix in a second test if the problem is not fixed by the dll. Do not wonder about broken effects its only a test if the engine needs some settings that are included in the DOS1 ini. Please report back. I can make a new ini for DOS2 if your tests where sucessfull in general.

    1. You may have killed the ini file or the update updated migoto and now the things are not matching. You badly needed the original fix and the profile update from it.

can you please reinstall the original fix, open d3dx.ini and set create_profile=1 (its zero this time), may you do not have a profile and than you cant update it. This option will create a profile for you if there is none in the driver. Please try and report back.

    1. No. Do not Update it with the fix Manager. It will only Update migoto and there is no use of it. Take the fix as it is otherwhise you kills fixed things. Enjoy!

  10. I get weird red errors at the beginning, something like "unknown section in d3dx.ini [Include]."

I also tried uninstalling, recopying the files, changing create_profile=0 to 1, and then running the game again per your instructions above, but the resulting behavior is identical.

  11. When I download the ZIP from this page, the mouse is invisible.
To resolve it, I downloaded the original fix http://3dsurroundgaming.com/3DVision/DivinityOriginalSinEnhancedEd_Alpha3.rar and extracted d3d11.dll, d3dcompiler_46.dll and nvapi64.dll from it and used those (these are from the older version of 3dmigoto). This fixed the invisible mouse and also enabled Losti's mouse fix. The keys work as described in this post (U and Z).

  12. I found a solution to the Mouse issues. Don't copy the old dlls from the old fix - you'll hear beeping when you start the game indicating there was an error. Instead, copy the latest dlls from the 1.3.16 3DMigoto release and you'll have a 3D Mouse cursor, no beeping, no error messages.
