Need For Speed Payback (DX11)

Fix:
- Shadows / Lights
- CS Lights and Tile Lights
- Reflections
- Lensflares
- HUD

TB and SBS Mode:
- The game support SBS/TB Mode using 3Dmigoto. Remove the ";" in the  ";include = ShaderFixes\3dvision2sbs.ini" of the d3dx.ini. Default TB Mode. F11 to cycle. Also remember to use "HDMI Checkerboard" in the NVCP to remove the 720p limitation.

Instructions:
- Extract where NeedForSpeedPayback.exe is located (\Need For Speed Payback)
- Start the game, when "Rundll32" prompt appear, press "Yes" (in Win10 this don't appear). This is for the Profile Override needed for this game. In Nvidia overlay you will see "3Dfix by DHR".

    1. That's outside the scope of what we do. We never move the camera, because that typically involves directly poking the game memory. We only modify shaders. It looks like you can possibly get Cinematic Tools to run to do this, and it should be compatible with 3Dmigoto. (Worked in Alien Isolation at least)

  6. I haven't been playing in 3D lately. Can you guys please enlighten me what SBS/TB mode in 3Dmigoto stands for? I've googled but only came up with the fact, that it is an alternative output mode for 3d instead of Nvidia 3DVision. What are the benefits from using SBS/TB 3DMigoto instead of regular 3DVision?

    1. Side by Side, or Top and Bottom modes. These are alternate ways to see 3D, that are nearly always supported by 3D TVs. For example, you can use a 3D TV that has its own glasses (not 3D Vision glasses), and use the SBS output from a DX11 game to see it in 3D.

I haven't used it, but the SBS is supposed to give you better results on 4K 3D TVs.

  7. This looks INCREDIBLE! Only played 2 hours but it's probably the best 3D I've seen since Shadow of Mordor. You really get a sense of depth in racing games when you stretch the convergence out.
However would it be possible to add presets? I adjust convergence a lot in the garage as it's up close, it's like having the car right there physically in front of you. Once I'm driving again I need to re-adjust convergence, so it'd be easier if I could create some custom convergence presets, is this possible? Thanks for your work, I'm completely blown away.

    1. You can add your own custom presets. Edit the d3dx.ini file, and there are comments on how to set up key overrides that let you do what you want. You can set the convergence to toggle on any key.

  8. maybe on TV and works well
but on the monitor there is a shift of shadows and textures home with poles
especially unpleasant looks when fences and restraints constantly get out on the center of the road

    1. I'm getting this issue too. Trees, foliage, signs, posts and sometimes cars seem to split out completely which is really disorienting. It's inconsistent though, sometimes it fixes by restarting the game and sometimes it doesn't. When it is fixed it can glitch out again during a mission. It makes no difference whether graphics quality is low or ultra. I have some screens but not sure how to post here.

    1. This fix is not going to work on your system. This is for NVidia 3D Vision, stereoscopic gaming. Intel HD does not support this, so it doesn't make sense to use this fix.
