Somehow I can only start Crysis 3 in 3D through Origin (even in offline mode, through the taskbar icon). I can't do it any other way, not through the EA App or through 3D Fix Manager. There is something that only Origin (even with an old installer) is able to start the game with 3d vision smoothly. I only discovered this because I have the physical version of Crysis 3. In other words, if I tried to download it through the EA App I would be unhappy. And likewise, not even 3D Fix Manager is able to launch correctly (and this is still Crysis 3 '3D Vision Ready'), and that is deeply shameful. You have done an ama...Thanks so much for this Paul. You have done an amazing job with this and I really appreciate it. I have noticed a couple of issues on my end. Every game I run in Geo11 seems to be forced to run in 1920x1080 @120hz. This is fine when running Dx9 but SBS, which I predominantly use I need to be in 60hz, otherwise I cant switch to SBS on my projector. I tried forcing it every which way but to no avail. I also noticed that every game I run in 3d, with every method, forces Vsync on at driver level, regardless of changing settings in the app. I know this is a first geo11 release, so I thought Id report bugs here, as I'm not sure where else to. Thanks so much againand look forward to your next update.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5003459283230164005.post-67275472336265516442024-03-12T21:13:47.017-07:002024-03-12T21:13:47.017-07:00amazing, Been patiently waiting for this release! ...amazing, Been patiently waiting for this release! thank so much!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5003459283230164005.post-92229217124573587552024-03-12T16:08:49.242-07:002024-03-12T16:08:49.242-07:00wow! so cool! and welcome back!!!!!!wow! so cool! and welcome back!!!!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5003459283230164005.post-9729233476867491422024-03-12T10:36:22.755-07:002024-03-12T10:36:22.755-07:00BTW Paul, What was up with the Origin crash mess??...BTW Paul, What was up with the Origin crash mess??KoelMeesterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08821679909723847514noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5003459283230164005.post-53363362507902846802024-03-12T09:14:29.447-07:002024-03-12T09:14:29.447-07:00AWESOME! thanks so muchAWESOME! thanks so muchAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5003459283230164005.post-46968639597295085412024-03-12T07:23:50.786-07:002024-03-12T07:23:50.786-07:00Thank you very much for the update Paul!! Can imagine that you have been really busy with real life.

Hopefully there wouldnt be any new bugs.

Probably out of your scope but do you think there is any chance to have some integration between Geo11 and Reshade + your software? It would be really nice if there was some collaboration between all these entities =)
I saw Helifax mentioned that Reshade cant be proxied with 3Dmigoto anymore some time ago but have no idea how it works with Geo11. If it was a simple setting in the INI it would be nice to have some tab for this in your work with some recommendations if it does not mean you have to move a mountain. Just an idea you probably already heard before.

I still use your software on a regular basis. 3DVision and HelixVision.KoelMeesterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08821679909723847514noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5003459283230164005.post-79485546425806777042024-03-12T01:29:27.309-07:002024-03-12T01:29:27.309-07:00Awesome, thanks.Awesome, thanks.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5003459283230164005.post-80436991043647394462024-03-11T17:27:08.592-07:002024-03-11T17:27:08.592-07:00Thank you, Paul! So then I decided to do a couple of expirements. I installed Little Nightmares I & II, and used the software to try playing them in 3D. It didn't work for either of them. They both run looking normal instead of in split-screen.

So then I tried something else. This time, I attempted to use the software to play Ni No Kuni II. In the case of this game, I had already been playing it using the mod here. It was a really simple, smooth, ideal installation; I just copied the files to its folder as instructed, then I ran the game from Steam and everything worked great. It opened in split-screen, and I've been able to play it in 3D on my Quest 2 using Virtual Desktop.

However, when I tried running it in 3D through this software instead, I got a pop-up message informing me that "To play this game in Stereo 3D it's necessary to install a mod to the video driver". So when it asked me "Do you want to modify the video driver for full stereo 3D support now?", I clicked Yes. After it made the modifications, I then tried running the game. Using this software, IT NO LONGER WORKED IN 3D. Not only did it not run in split screen, it ran with a list of red "WARNING:" texts superimposed over the game on the upper left side of the screen as it was running. After that, I shut the game down, and then tried to instead run it from Steam like I had been before. It no longer ran in 3D anymore that way either, and still had the red "WARNING:" texts. In order to be able to play it like I had been, I had to go back to the game's page here, re-download the mod, and then over-write whatever it was that this software did to the files that had previously enabled the game to run successfully in split-screen.

I really like the idea of this software, especially the option of using it to open a game in either 2D or 3D depending on how I feel like playing it at any given time. However, on my computer at least, it is not doing what it's supposedly meant to do, and in at least some cases appears to actually do the opposite.BPnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5003459283230164005.post-48466666294099163972023-11-25T03:56:52.437-08:002023-11-25T03:56:52.437-08:00I have a VR-ready gaming laptop but have had troub...I have a VR-ready gaming laptop but have had trouble getting about half of my 3D-able Steam games to run in split-screen when I install the mods here and then run the games. So I came across this software mentioned elsewhere here and installed it hoping it would fix the issue. When I ran it and tried using it to play Bayonetta, this is what happened:

The software informed me in the "Stereoscopic 3D Driver" box that "3D is not enabled in driver." So I clicked "Enable 3D" and it installed what it apparently needed to install, but then said "Failed to enable stereo 3D. Please connect an external monitor to the laptop and set it as the primary display." Clicking "Enable 3D" asks me if I want to load a "backuped copy" of settings, but I don't know what this is referring to.

The box below that, which says "Video Driver", also told me I didn't have the right driver installed, and prompted me to install it. So I clicked on the button to do so, and went through the installation procedure.

I use my Samsung 4K TV as my primary monitor, connected with my laptop by an HD cable. When the driver attempted to install, my laptop's connection to my TV suddenly disappeared, and my TV no longer recognized that it's connected to my computer. After it was done installing, it prompted me to restart my computer, and I thought maybe doing that would resolve the issue of my TV suddenly not working with my PC anymore. So I restarted, but my TV still doesn't recognize that my PC is connected to it now. I re-opened this software, and the same box was now prompting me to "please install the standard version of GeForce driver for an improved stereoscopic 3D experience" as if I didn't just do that already. So I did it again, and this time it seems the installation process worked; the box then said ""The best GeForce driver for playing games in stereoscopic 3D is already installed."

However, as for the first box prompting me to "connect an external monitor to the laptop" (even though it's already connected to my TV which isn't recognizing it anymore): All of the "Details" listed now have green checkmarks except for the last one that says "Stereo 3D". I use my Quest 2 as my "monitor" to play my games in 3D and VR, via Virtual Desktop. But apparently this software doesn't recognize that Virtual Desktop is present and being used for my headset? And my Windows settings don't let me select the Quest 2 as a "Display" either. (I usually keep my laptop and headset connected by a cable.)

So now I'm not sure what to do other than try to roll back the changes and hope that I can at least get my TV to work as my monitor again.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5003459283230164005.post-3336728348173657292023-11-25T03:53:53.305-08:002023-11-25T03:53:53.305-08:00I have a VR-ready gaming laptop but have had troub...I have a VR-ready gaming laptop but have had trouble getting about half of my 3D-able Steam games to run in split-screen when I install the mods here and then run the games. All younger patches and fixes steam fropm the communities and some special people at helixmods/mtbs. You can still play many games in beutiful stereoscopic 3D using these patches. The 3D Fix Manager is a great tool for installing all needed patches and fixes, which also came from the community. As it isn't updated anymore you will have to install younger fixes manually, which usually isn't much more then copying the files downloaded from helixmod into the game's directory.ElMariachihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00326606182665422495noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5003459283230164005.post-53625698555272787802023-01-03T16:50:13.290-08:002023-01-03T16:50:13.290-08:00I don't see any comments on this from like fou...I don't see any comments on this from like four years ago.
