What this mod does:
- Fixes shadows, lights & various haloing issues
- Places bloom at a fixed depth
- Places cutscenes & various HUD elements at a fixed depth
- Adds 2 convergence presets on the 'Caps Lock' key. Use the lower preset when driving around in car mode. (See 'Additional Notes' below)
Known Issues:
- Some HUD & UI still looks uneven (red target reticle, big map in the menu screen)
Installation:
1) Remove any existing fix files from the game directory before installing the fix below.
2) Download this ZIP file and extract the contents into the game directory.
3) Disable fullscreen optizations (for Windows 10 only):
-
Navigate to the game directory
- Right click on the game exe "TransformersDevastation.exe"
- Click on Properties -> Compatability tab
- Place a check mark next to "Disable fullscreen optimizations" and Press OK
5) If using a controller, use a control mapping program (such as Xpadder or Joy2Key) to assign the Left Ctrl key to the left trigger on the controller (for aiming)
Additional Notes:
- The 'Save Preset' Helixmod feature doesn't work for this game. Instead, if you want to change the convergence settings for the Caps Lock key, open the "dx9settings.ini" file and follow the instructions listed there. Let me know in the comments below if you need any assistance regarding this.
Special thanks to mike_ar69 for his Metal Gear Rising fix
Thank you again for all the great fixes!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I bought this a while ago and was quietly hoping someone would fix the shadows :-) :-)

ReplyDeleteSorry, this is DX9 game, and HelixMod doesn't have support for SBS output, only 3Dmigoto for DX11 does that.
DeleteAnyone else having issues getting this to work? Im using 3d fix manager and it seems to pop in, but then the screen goes black, and starts repeating the 3d green light on monitor comes on, then pops back to a black screen. Heres footage /watch?v=_jLW2QM9NLQ
