Black Myth Wukong [UEVR + VRto3D]

praydog's awesome UEVR makes it possible to play Black Myth Wukong in 3D!
This game is compatible with 3DVision driver 452.06, but if you have a different 3D display it will run better on newer drivers.

Notes:

  • 3DVision setups require a 2nd display to run VRto3D and have to follow this procedure every time you want to play the game
  • Optionally support praydog's work on Patreon
  • When UEVR is injected, you can open its menu in-game by pressing INSERT and adjust the VR settings there like UI Size and Distance
  • Sometimes UEVR injection crashes the game. Just try again
  • Toggle between different depth presets for menus/cutscenes using the XInput Guide Button or Numpad 2 (this can be changed in the VRto3D profile if desired)
  • There are two different UEVR profiles to try, each with pros/cons
  • Synced Sequential looks better overall, but you need really high-end hardware to run. 3DVision hardware shouldn't try. See the first set of pictures
  • Native Stereo runs better, but it's not as pretty. See the second set of pictures

In-Game Settings:

  • Super Resolution set to '100'
  • Super Resolution Sampling set to 'TSR'
  • Frame Generation 'Off'
  • This video is a good guideline for getting the best performance/visuals

You will need:

  • VRto3D setup for your 3D display here
  • Download and extract the latest VRto3D profiles to your "Documents\My Games\vrto3d\" folder
  • Follow the general UEVR instructions for installation (use Nightly version) and launching a game below
  • Download either this Synced Sequential profile or this Native Stereo profile
  • DO NOT RENAME THESE ZIPS OR UEVR WILL NOT WORK
  • Import either one into UEVR using the "Import Config" button

Remaining Issues:

Synced Sequential UEVR Profile
  • Some shadows on birds and some particle effects look off

Native Stereo UEVR Profile

  • Ambient Occlusion can sometimes look wrong. If it bothers you, edit the "%APPDATA%\UnrealVRMod\b1-Win64-Shipping\user_script.txt" file and add "r.AmbientOcclusionLevels 0"
  • There are LoD/texture resolution issues where you will experience severe pop-in

  1. Hi my name is Liam I am looking to purchase a new laptop rtx 3060 or higher or if need be a pc with rtx 2080ti. I want to use Optoma 1080p projector with dlp glasses, with ultra wide gameplay as the black bars will emit on the wall and the screen is a 21:9. Do I only need 2080ti with the specific driver for this projector or is this only for 3d vision glasses? Is 3d vision producing the 3d to go on the projector?or is all 3d games for projectors with dlp glasse sbs or frame sequential? Sorry I am very new to this many thanks.

    1. 3D projectors are very versatile and won't limit you to specific drivers or older GPUs. You're going to want to run it in 16:9 though to get the most resolution out of it. 3D mods create the 3D and you'll mainly want SbS: Geo-11 for DX11, VRto3D for VR, Vk3DVision for vulkan, and opengl3DVision for opengl. The old 3DVision DX9 games will work via 3dtvplay. There are some dx11 games that will only work with old GPU/drivers using 3dmigoto, but Geo-11 works for the majority of games.
