Update 08-24
- Add some reflections shaders
- "P" key cycle for Dot crosshair depth
- "1" key for low convergence and "2" key for high convergence
Fix:
- Shadows
- Lights
- Decals
- Reflections
- Halos in effects
- Lights Shaft
- Dot Crosshair at depth
TB and SBS Mode:
- The game support SBS/TB Mode using 3Dmigoto. Remove the ";" in the ;run = CustomShader3DVision2SBS in the [Present] section of the d3dx.ini. Default TB Mode. F11 to cycle.
Know Issues:
- Some minor issues with reflections. If i dump the shader the effect disappear of the screen with others correct effects, so is better don't touch the shader.
Settings:
- Disable Motion Blur
- Use Shadows = Highest
Presets:
- "P" key cycle for Dot crosshair depth
- "1" key for low convergence and "2" key for high convergence, you can customize in the d3dx.ini
Instructions:
- Extract where TheObserver-Win64-Shipping.exe is located (\Observer\TheObserver\Binaries\Win64)
- Start the game, when "Rundll32" prompt appear, press "Yes". This is for the Profile Override needed for this game.

ReplyDeletegood job! thanks :-)
ReplyDeleteawesome!! thank you so much, its so much more beautiful now!
ReplyDeleteI was holding off on this hoping a fix would be made. Anything with floating holograms look 10 times more impressive in 3D. Thanks
ReplyDeleteThank you so mutch !!
ReplyDeletei never could have dreamed that this one got perfect 3D :)
this game looks amazing in 3D. Many thanks for the work!
ReplyDeleteWhenever I run the game through Steam, the 3D doesn't activate.
ReplyDeleteIf I run the .exe manually, the 3D activates but the game closes as it can't connect to Steam...
Uninstall the fix using Uninstall.bat, and make sure that you can get it into 3D without anything installed.
DeleteYou might also want to try manually adding the flags specified in the Profile section of the d3dx.ini.
Can also modify something there, like set StereoConvergence = 100, which will force it to ask for profile update again, on next launch. You must select Yes, because these bits are necessary to enable 3D.
If none of that works out, cleanly reinstall the NVidia driver, using DDU.
same problem
Deletesolution: fullsreen off/fullsreen on
DeleteI am getting green text at the top and bottom of my game that says the separation and convergence values, among others. Is there a way to toggle this text off with a shortcut or in the files somewhere? Besides that this fix looks great, thank you.
ReplyDeleteShould be off by default. In the d3dx.ini file, "hunting=2" which means it will only show if you hit the Numpad 0 button. You can toggle with that key. Also, set "hunting=0" if you want it off altogether.
