How to make make things working:
PLEASE ENSURE you are using a 3D-Vision-SUITIBLE Driver Setup! To proove or achieve, I suggest reading + using this:
- Alternatively: 3D Fix Manager
1. INITIAL-Setup (only needed once):
- INSTALL the fix with 3DFM
- or download it from below and EXTRACT the archives files to the game install folder: ...\Medium\Binaries\Win64
- START "00_UE4-UniversalFix-2_Config.cmd" located in
- READ/FOLLOW all the things in the tool
- ONCE if you have entered the Config-Tool Quick-Start Menu, JUST close it
- Please read/follow the section below ("Starting the game and Ingame Setup")
2. Starting the Game and Ingame-Setup:
- START the game via 3DFM, or via launcher/shortcut/game-executable
- you may need to wait up to 15 min if you run the game for the first time!
- The game may have HUGE INPUT LAGS the first time and while loading (NEW) areas (because of shader caching) ....its getting better the more you play.
- Set FULLSCREEN in the game options.
- If 3D will not work, try ALT+ENTER and ALT+ENTER again, or STRG+T
- If 3D still not work, read the FAQs from the link below
- USE HIGHEST available Anti-Aliasing settings
- The fix sets AA and AO as good as suitible for 3D-Vision.
- Any lower AA settings MAY can make your image grissly, but its up to you!
- Additional In-Game Settings:
- nothing special, everything is up to you!
- F2 On-Screen-Help (OFF/ON)
- NUMPAD - toggle low convergence (ON/OFF)
- XB_START + XB_BACK Hold down both keys for 0.25 sec to toggle OSD

Losti ive tried to force full screen but still not able to activate 3d although other games are working fine in 3d like outer worlds and green hell.

This is a normal UE4 game, so double check that another UE4 game is working properly on your system.
DeleteIf 3D is not kicking in, that means it's not in exclusive full screen mode. Try doing alt-enter to go windowed, then back to exclusive full screen. Make sure the game is using the DX11 render path, not DX12.
Would also be worth trying the PlayIn3D from 3DFM/HelixVision, which sets up all the parameters automatically. And also worth trying Losti's setup script.
Dear Bo3b I've tried installing 3d fix from 3d fix manager but same results for both games like mortal shell and the medium i.e 3d not getting activated.
DeleteI've also tried alt + ent but just reolution changes in game and nothing happens.
How to make sure that game is being played via direct x 11 instead of 12.
I do not see option in game menu.
Thats soooooo typical for many of the users .... Asking for help without any information on the things allready tried, often miss obviouse written things etc....Asking via PM or in several posts .... AND THAN, if we try to help or make suggestions or asking questions, NOTHING..... 2 options here: The user gave up, or it works but in BOTH cases, often NO, realy NO information about, no thanks .... simply nothing....One more reason for me NOT to check the help cries here anymore....

DeleteJust use the UE4-UF2 to Start the game. It always forces dx11. Or add -dx11 to the launcher. If you still have Problems, ill tell you how to enable 3D in ue4 If nothing else works.
