3Dmigoto 3D Vision DX11 Fix
Last Updated: June 6, 2020
What this mod does:
- Fixes various 2D textures
- Adds convergence preset on the 'Caps Lock' key & on the Xbox Directional Pad Up.
- Adds a low convergence preset on the 'Z' key & on the Xbox Directional Pad Left.
- Adds a very low convergence preset on the 'X' key & on the Xbox Directional Pad Right.
Known Issue:
- There's some noticeable light clipping (from tile lighting) when the
convergence is below 1.0 or higher than 2.7. (The screenshots above are at 1.0 convergence).
Installation:
- Download this ZIP file & extract it into the game's directory.
Additional Notes:
- When in-game, if you want to see the current convergence value, press the '0' key on the number pad. It will be in green text at the bottom. When
finished, press '0' again to hide the overlay.
- All convergence values & associated key bindings can be changed in the d3dx.ini file.
Thanks for all your hard work and fixes 4everAwake!
ReplyDeletePinball in sweet 3D!
Fantastic! Computer Pinball only really makes sense in 3D I think.
ReplyDeleteI tried it, and it works great. I wish more who used these fixes would give feedback, even if it's simple like mine. Thank you.

ReplyDeleteLooks great! I did have to set my refresh rate to 120Hz specifically to get it to work, although I think that was a problem with the game itself and not the fix. I tried several tables and they all looked pretty great.
ReplyDeleteI've been noticing when I use 3D vision sometimes the game will freeze for a full second or so every so often. It doesn't happen when I'm playing without 3D vision and it's really inconsistent. Sometimes I don't get an issue for several minutes and others I get it freezing and stuttering several times in a row. Can't seem to figure out what is even causing it. The game runs perfectly smooth is 3D most of the time and my CPU and GPU are nowhere near max load or dangerously high temps. I really love the game is 3D, it looks great, but these stutters can really ruing a game.
ReplyDeleteLooks amazing, brings the tables to life. Thank you
ReplyDeleteThank you so much. pinball fx without 3d wasn't the same anymore.
ReplyDeleteThis 3d game looks magical
ReplyDeleteWould this work with any of the VR headsets out there?
ReplyDeleteNot directly, but I just tested this, and it works in HelixVision.
DeleteIIRC there is somebody who makes a full VR experience for pinballs, that I saw at California Extreme.
Hey, just wanted to say how much i enjoyed your patch! I saw that Zen offered some of their DLCs as a lockdown giveaway and gave it a spin. I was about to put it away when i saw your patch. Wow, that blew me away! It was like standing in front of the real thing. Thank you for your work!
ReplyDeleteAt first I would get frequent pauses in the game and now, all of a sudden, the game will crash at random points. The 3Dfix just stopped working.
ReplyDeleteSame, it doesn't seem to work anymore. If it loads in 3d, it crashes inside of a min or two.
ReplyDeleteI updated the fix with the latest 3Dmigoto version and I enabled shader caching. Let me know if this helps. If not, try setting setting "APP_COMPAT_SHIM" to "1" in the d3dx.ini file.
DeleteExcellent job looks great on my oled e6. All I need now is fix for pinball arcade in dx 11 as fx3 is missing some great tables.Thank you
ReplyDeletePlease help me, I want to use your patch that you would remove the back background! Make it black.
ReplyDeletePlease tell me what settings need to register in D3DX.ini to remove the rear background)?
Your patch by default removes many elements of background, but remain moving elements of graphics that downgrade FPS
ReplyDeletePlease help me, 4everAwake
