    1. I dont want to call it EASY to fix UE4 Engine Games. Shaderhackers have sepend a lot of time to find the all the corrections. The same like for any other game. If a game using an engine and once is fixed, its easier to fix other games based on this engine, thats true. But also UE4 once was unknown and fixing this the first time is comparable to any other game engine.

    2. Sorry, I overstated 'easy.' With respect to Unreal Engine and this universal fix, a lot of the work is done up front. I think I might be able to use what you have here to actually make a fix. With other engines I would have NO idea where to start.

  7. Reupload of Version 1.13 because of wrong SBS ini files. Please ReDownload if you have downloaded before 08.01.2020. If you dont use a stereo mode next to 3D-Vision, you dont need to redownload.

    1. An Universal fix is not a garant that everything is working 100% in every game.

      There are trouble shooting discriptions in the post above you may be able to solve some problems by your own.

      PS: "...during game" is not very usefull for checking the issue and try solve the problem....

  10. I need some help for terminator. I've followed all instructions correctly. before I installed the fix the game would crash on start up as 3d started with fatal low level error. now the game starts I get the fix osd display then when the save icon appears (when 3d tries to activate) it crashes. tbh this first time I used my 3d shades and emitter in years but its all working correctly with dark souls 3 and halo. I have the 3d manager installed and it doesn't even list terminator so I cant even try an automatic fix. if anyone could she d any light on my 3d issue it be much appreciated.

    1. It would be cool if you post something like this in the Post from the game .-).

      3D-Fix-Manager will never solve those problems. The only thing the tool is dooing is the same thing you do manually. Copy the fix to the respective folder and run the game. Nothing else. So using 3DFM will not brting you any cure.

      Not even any game is simillar so it is game speciffic. DS3 and HALO are not UE4 games. Install a 3D fix will never cause crashes in general, i mean you cant do anything wrong while installing, except choosing a wrong directory but THAN the fix is not active. If the fix is active you have installed it corretly.

      I have added several hints here in the blog post before the donload section in the Trouble Shooting section. Please read the things below this entry (Crashes and Hangups - possible Options to cure) and let us know how you are dooing.

    2. Terminator is not in the 3DFM list because there is no game-profile for it, which is typically made by PaulDusler for anything posted to the blog. Random unknown games are not going to be directly supported, unless he sees them. IIRC any game without a 3DFM profile won't show in the list on the left, but you can always add a New profile in lower left.

      For 3DFM, Losti is right that it won't perform any miracles. But it can help simplify things and solve problems that people often overlook when doing it manually. For example- it automatically sets that retarded Win10 option of "Disable full-screen optimizations". If you don't set that checkmark, you never get 3D now. Easy to overlook, hard to debug. Another example is setting games full screen. 3DFM will automatically set the launch parameters for UE4 and Unity games to force full screen, and also set game settings that can affect 3D automatically. Again, easy enough to setup manually, but easy to overlook and hard to debug because of silent failure.

      You can automate some of your testing of UE4 games using 3DFM. It will show all games installed on the left, even if they don't have fixes, but have profiles. And for an unknown game you can make New profile and lookup the game via SteamDB and specify UE4 as game engine. It will setup the profile to use DHR's UE4 Universal fix right now, but I'll update the link for future versions.

      For a given profile you create New, if you drop in Losti's updated UE4 Universal fix into the Tools\3Dmigoto\ subfolder of 3DFM, it can directly install the UE4 Universal fix for it using Install 3D Wrapper. Might save some time.

  11. I have added some hints to the stereo flags in the trouble shooting options because i have at last 2 games having light/shadow issues that was fixed using stereo Flags 4008:

    You may need to change StereoFlagsDX10 to 4008 (d3dx.ini)
    If you have wrong effects with shadows and lights, the game may need another stereo flag. Open d3dx.ini and search for StereoFlagsDX10 = 0x00005008. Changes this to StereoFlagsDX10 = 0x00004008. Using StereoFlags 4008 will make the Outlines 2D. This can be fixed by the identification of the VertexShader and add some lines in the d3dx.ini. In this case please let me know that you want to learn how to do this. Start the game and see if the shadows have been corrected. If not, there is little hope and you have to live with it. You can still try to change the following line StereoTextureEnable = 0x00000023 to StereoTextureEnable = 0x00000027.

    I am happy to say I have had some success with applying this to a game, Ruiner. I have the Epic Games version. There were only a few very minor changes I made by applying a few UE4 fix setting keys. I have only been through the first level and some of the next section, but so far, so good. The only somewhat obvious issue I saw was in the game over screen, where there are some enemies shown in red with bad convergence, behind a splash screen/canvas. Is it possible to trigger auto convergence for these scenes only? Also I am unaware where all of the auto fixing keys, OSD, etc. are to be disabled once I am satisfied that no more corrections are needed. I only have a 1080p monitor so I don't know how I could be sure other resolutions are OK either. Thanks for any suggestions...

    1. Its possible to trigger autoconvergence in dependency of the scene if this scene has some unique texture or shader activated. Buts this is nothing we dan do universal. Why dontyou simply use the auto convergence enable/disable key for the scene? If the apperiance for some enemies is only strange, there is a shader that is missed or you need another stereo texture enabled flag or StereoFlagsDX10, may be, may be not. May be its simply a shader you can disable that causes this.

      Howver, the OSD can be disabled by default setting ;helptext
      y20 = 1.0 to 0.0 in d3dx.ini

      Except the auto Depth HUD that is not suitible for post games beeing enabled permanentely, all the options you choose are saved, except the convergence preset you have choosen. Just set up your convergence with STRG+F5/F6 and than press STRG + F7 to save. If you switch on auto convergence and than switch it off, the last used convergence from auto convergence is set as currrent convergence. If you want to restore your prefered settings, you should make a key for this here. OR modify the depth preset rotation key. There is a section in the ini file:

      Than you can set up your desired settings anytime even if auto convergence was on and is off now. Just press * to set your convergence you want to play normally.

      The rest of all settings you choose via the keys you can see in the OSD are saved by pressing F10 OR by exiting the game and restart it.

      If you really want to have auto Depth for the hud permanentely on, set ;AutoDepthToggle
      x22=0.0 to 1.0 in the d3dx.ini

    4. Bis long did you wait in the splash screen? You can uncomment the include of the Reg ex in the ini and see if the game Starts. Yes, than you just need to wait a Bit more at the splash screen. Its System dependend how long a fist Start will last until shaders are cashed. Wait up to 5 mins. Ist only for the first Start. If the game will not Start after uncoment the regex fix its your system thats bad. What are your specs?

  13. Sorry for the late reply Losti, been very busy. Waited for well over 5 mins at splash screen and uncommented regex to no avail. still not booting. Running Win10 1809 with lastest drivers and workaround done with 3dfixmanager. Running a 2060RTX card

      Of note- don't worry about deleting old files, you can just leave them there. Disk storage costs us nothing, it's only bandwidth that costs. If you leave the old ones in place, people can always find an old URL. And sometimes the old fixes have interesting things to be learned. No worries either way, just noting that deleting old files is not necessary.

    1. This fix should work more or less for all games using the Unreal 4 engine. What you may have to or can do if you have issues is discriped in the textwall above.

      You cannot use this universal fix for games based on another game Engine.

  16. Hi every body for me this fix is working absolutely fine except in the dark picture man of medan i see small boxes around light and they go away as i stay in game and while moving i see a lot of them around lights.
    How can i fix it??

    1. Version 1.15 has improvements for the clipping you mention. But you cant use the Universal fix out of the box for Update the Dark picture game, because i have had made some chamges special for Dark pictures. I will update the gamefix this evening. Than you can try and look if the clipping is gone or not. If not, i really appreciate to have a savegame to check this issue. Ill give a Note in the Dark pictures game fix Post if its done.

      - scoll down a bit and you will find this line ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;3D-Mode;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
      - in this section you can read this: ;include = ShaderFixes\3dvision2sbs.ini
      - remove the ; before the include and save the file
      - as you can read here, you can now swith the 3D mode ingame with F12 or:
      - enter the ShaderFixes folder
      - open 3dvision2sbs.ini here
      - in line 10 you can se this line: global persist $mode = 0
      - as you can see above in this file: 5 = Reversed Top and Bottom
      - so change persist $mode = 0 to persist $mode = 5
      - save the game and start the game.

    1. You can cycle through different versions of the SBS mode. Look for the section in d3dx.ini or the SBS.ini that shows the different types. Usually mode=3 is reversed SBS. And usually you can cycle with F11 key.

    1. Why not just try it? No one has the time to keep track of all the versions and variants. Best just to experiment.

    2. FIRST: You can ask google to for "gamename game engine" for example ... but some search will not give you the game engine the game uses. Make some deepter search.... SECOND: Purchease the game and try! Games will always having the folder structure descriped in the section above "Instructions to install the fix" if they have UE4 engine. NOTE: THIS is not a garanty that the universal fix will work well!!!

  21. Hi guys, I've tried Planet Alpha, Hellblade, Close to the Sun, none of them works, aren't those suppose to be UE4?
    I've copied the files to the shipping file folder, and changed the "width, width, hight" in d3dx.ini
    I'm using the latest drivers from Nvidia with Losti 3DV fix

    1. First of all, I would like to inform you that messages like "none of the things are working / nothing works / it’s not working" are useless for you and for us. This could mean, for example: your PC is on fire, the game is crashing, the game in 3D is completely broken or only a few effects are not corrected, the game is not starting the game crashing ... WHATEVER!!! To help you we need a detailed description of the problem. Not just a: "ITS NOT WORKING" message.

      HELLBLADE is not working with any universal fix around, its fix was a great work from HELIFAX, DSS and Bo3B. The fix was never being published @ this blog but you can get it here:

      Planet Alpha is working perfect until V 1.16 of this fix, except some SUD/LIGHT errors, I have added some sun/light fix in UE4-UF2 V1.17 today, please use STRG+NUMPAD2 to enable this for this game. Its NEW and only working since UE4-UF2 V1.17!!!!

      Close to the Sun is even perfect since V 1.16.

      You may have a general problem! Start 00_UE4-UniversalFix-2_Config.cmd to check if the you installed it the right way. This tool is available since V 1.16!

      Read the section how to install the fix and also read Troubleshooting Section. LEARN to LEARN ^^

    1. This is the error that you get when using newer drivers. Either use 425.31 which always works, or go to the mtbs3d.com forums and understand the Schwing hack, which binary edits the video driver to avoid these UE4 crashes on latest drivers.

  23. Unfortunately I can't use older driver 425.31 with Super card, and it will be same issue will all coming video cards that will not be able to use older driver than the release date. I will see if I can understand the Schwing hack :(

    2. Losti with respect to everyone in the 3DV community, you're the KING of them all
      I was suffering with my Super card playing lot of 3D games, now I tried the link above installing the drivers with this patch and everything is working now :D
      Regarding UE4 fix I tried it with 3 games and it works too.
      OMG everything is working, 3DV is back to live yessssss
      BTW, just small matter not big deal, the Antivirus keeps putting the file into Quarantine as a virus, but after adding to exception everything went well.

    2. The F1 menu which comes with the fix, I can't get it with some games such as Sherlock Holmes Crimes and Punishments, but it works with other games. Is there a way to get that menu other than F1?

    3. Why F1 is not working? Im which way it is not working? You can Change every key by edit the d3dx.ini...search for F1 and replace the entry for every key you want. Hints für key are written in the ini. There is a link for the Virtual key code dokumentation.

    4. Maybe because F1 is bind to another function in Sherlock Holmes Crimes and Punishments, by the way the game is free now in Epic if you want to try it.

    7. WOOW, this Sherlock game is the VERY FIRST ONE I see that is NOT Win64 !!!! Its Win 32 and needs the 32 bit migoto files. Any other game you have you dont see the OSD? NO OST means MIGOTO is not active! You can also see this if the left lower screen green screen message will not tell you anything something like this: D-Vision-Fix - 1.17 by Losti .....

      I have seen that we need another halo fix and Stereo flags may be.... BUT ITS COOL FIXED without any migoto fix, but let me see if i can handle this quickly. Its a good thing to improve the universal fix AND the config tool may be. I need to considder check the 32 bit thing and implement it in the config tool, because this is only checking this:

      if NOT exist Win64 set ERRORMESSAGE=You installed the fix into the wrong folder. The right install folder is: ...^\GAMEFOLDER^\XXX^\Binaries^\Win64^\
      if NOT exist Win64 set ERRORMESSAGE2= OR: ...^\GAMEFOLDER^\Binaries^\Win64^\

    10. OK i have checked the game Sherlock Holmes Crimes and Punishments. As it seems this game needs a complete individual fix. SORRY ! Not working with universal fix at all. This game only applies some Halo RegEx, nothing more, and they wher wrong. Ill NOT fix this, its too time consuming. But as i say, its really good in shape WITHOUT any fix.

      This is an update that is working with 64 and 32 bit games to start the config tool, enables you to hunt shaders with this tool.

    14. For UE3 games, we also have a Universal Fix for them, but you need to grab it from a working game that is using it. I'm not sure what best game to use would be, but look for the fix with a PSscript.lua and VSscript.lua. Those are the original Helix fixes that are universal for any UE3 game.

    16. Ah, strange one. DX11 but UE3, very rare. I tested this briefly, if you add "-dx9" as launch parameters it will run in DX9 mode. 3D turns on, but there image is only 2D, so would require more experiments.

  27. I tried to install the latest 3d vision driver 425.31, but following error message occurs:

    "NVIDIA Installer cannot continue
    This NVIDIA graphics driver is not compatible with this version of Windows.
    This graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware"

    Laptop is new (Lenovo Legion y540, rtx 2060, win10) and connected to a ROG PG278Q monitor. Any ideas how to let this driver work? I appreciate every idea to solve this problem.

    - I installed the fix from 3D Fix Manager that extracted the files in ProjectMayhem/.../Win64 folder
    - edited d3dx.ini and set my resolution
    - copied Scalabilty and add contents of Engine_additions then make readonly for both files
    - Started the game from normal game .exe, started the game via 3D fix manager, started the game using 00_UE4-UniversalFix-2_Config.cmd, 3DMigoto too, force full screen..

    1. That error happens in any UE4 game when the driver is not hacked to allow it. You can't use most recent drivers with 3D Vision unless you use the Schwing hack. Best bet for these is to just use 425.31 where everything works. Latest drivers include literally nothing you need, even for just released games like HL:Alyx.

I don't know if I understand you well but with this driver I'm able to play any other game with proper fix, I installed 3D driver with 3D Fix Manager software (I uninstall/install it many times until it was shown in nvidia control panel) The issue now is that only Universal UE4 fix that it's not working

    4. You are wrong SApro. Its like bo3b tells you AND the most afflicted game engine is UE4.... The games that are working for you might are not UE4 games. I assume you have windows 10 GREATER than 1809 and using the latest driver installed via 3DFM but NOT APPLY Swing hack. Follow the robert method should bring you to a working system with latest driver BUT USE DDU and start from a clean system as recommented.

      If this is not working use DDU again and use the driver Bo3B tells you.

    5. The Robert256 is built around the Schwing hack. You are still better off to just run 425.31. Far fewer problems to solve, no EAC conflicts, or missing signed drivers issues.

  33. This is awesome... Just tried it on a small indie game and it worked perfectly.

    However there's only a minor problem: the AUTO Depth Middle HUD function won't stick.

    I've set all the values to 10% so it only affects the crosshair, those 10% values would be saved, I don't have to adjust them every time, just need to turn the feature ON. AUTO Convergence option on the other hand would stick, means if I turn it ON it would be ON automatically when the game launches.

    I've tried to turn AUTO Depth Middle HUD function ON then hit F10 to save settings, but a few seconds after I hit F10, the function would be switched OFF automatically.

    1. The F10 key is used to reload all the 3Dmigoto settings. Can you change that in the game to be some other key? If not, edit the d3dx.ini and find the F10 key and change it or remove it there.

      While this feature works very nicely to put the crosshair in correct depth, it does interfere with other UI elements. So I went through a few tutorial and quickly enough I was able to identify the texture for crosshair and make the auto depth apply to it only without rely on the "screen start" values.

      This works and I can toggle 3D crosshair with [Num-] (the Autodepth toggle) ,however I've then got another problem: some elements are still rendered at different depth while Autodepth HUD is turned ON vs OFF.     4. Never mind... it turns out that for some reason the developer decides to use the same texture for EVERYTHING that looks like an rectangle: the semi-transparent crosshair, the menu background, the sliders in options, etc.

      So I had to rely on the screen start checking to only apply the depth to this texture at the center of the screen.
      I had to manually disable the mouse cursor problem though, the information on this page is some what outdated (no result for that string anymore) but it's basically the same as AutoDepthHUD shader overrides so I just removed the portion checking for AutoDepth enabled.

    5. Nice to know that some one has used my tutorial and got the things working. If you need the switch on and of for the crosshair but the rest of the HUD @ static depth:

      1.
      - Disable the AutoDepth HUD with the "-" key as used to, this makes HUD static, as well as the crosshair.
      - For crosshair depth toggle you have to change the respective shader file that draws the crosshair, in your case you mentiones: da86a094e768f000-vs_replace.txt
      - open it
      - you can leave the "screen start" values as they are. The original file says this:

      Just remove the // at the first, second and the last line. This makes auto depth for crosshair only for your texture defined.

      - now change the constant number for the AutoDepthSwith. The line is written in the file some lines above.
      => float4 AutoDepthSwith = IniParams.Load(int2(22,0));
      change it to float4 AutoDepthSwith = IniParams.Load(int2(90,0));

      Now define a NEW key similar to the key for the auto depth on of thing in the d3dx.ini but take x90 and not x22 here.

      You can remove the AutDepthSwitch by remove if(AutoDepthSwith.x==1.0)
      { and a } before the last else in the shader file.

      You can also use the config tool. save your modded shader HUD shader and the d3dx.ini. Turn off AutoDepthHUD by pressing key 4 in the main menu. Copy back your saved d3dx.ini and your hud shader you have changed. The config tool will tell you AUTO-Depth-HUD/UI Option is enabled, because its checking the vs-t110 and vs-cb13 lines for comment out or uncommented. So jsut ignore this.

      OK Do you need any further help here?

    4. I created a dummy game in Unreal Engine.
      I added the exe file of the dummy game to 3DFixManager.
      I created a profile for it in 3DFixManager.
      Installed the Unreal Engine fix through 3DFixmanager.
      The green message appears, increasing depth and convergence works.
      But it only shows one 2D image. F11 does not cycle through stereo modes.
      So it seems to work half way through. Shortcuts work but there is only one image.
      Any hints what could be done to see two stereo images instead of only one 2D image ?

  41. Hi Losti, I'm trying to play Remnant, but everytime I try to open the game I get Unhandled exception.
    I've tried all 4 options in Config tool, neither is working.
    Even if I try to remove the fix, I get the same message as long as 3D Vision is enabled. Once I go back to 2D, game is working no error!! Any hint?

  42. Losti can you please add a key to disable "right mouse click" making lower depth? I understand it's really useful for fist person games when using ironshights and some other cases, but in third person games it doesn't make much sense, I've looked around the menu on F1 but I don't see a key that does this, if it already exists please can you share it?

    1. For update 2.2 it is indeed 0% convergence reduce by default. Not 40% like now. I assume you do not have startetd the config tool yet? Since 2.0 there is an Option in the Quick Start menu to choose your desired conv reduce, also 0 % means disable is a Choice there.

    2. I am trying what you are saying "convergence reduce to 0" it is not helping. We turn Auto Convergence completely "off". Then we adjust convergence to what we want manually. Now what is happening, is when you press the right mouse button, it is causing a shift in depth or convergence, this is really, really painful. It seems this is made for first person shooting games. We are playing isometric (diablo 3 type) games. How or why is this on by default and we can't shut it off? We do not want any convergence change when we hit Right Mouse BUtton!!! THank you Losti! How can we fix this?

  44. OK I am stuck I read the getting started section quoted here: "THIS FIX is ONLY for games using UNREAL ENGINE 4!!! Check GOOGLE to get INFO about the game engine your desired game is running on!!!

    I double checked and the game I am trying to get working is Ark Evolved it is definetely UE4 Engine but Google stated it is heaviliy modded..

    Now when I run the "00_UE4-UniversalFix-2_Config.cmd" it starts to load something but then I get an error message as follows: \Steam\steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame"" was unexpected at this time.

  47. well turns out there might have been a install issue with the game.. I reinstalled and now the sky is normal just not in 3D.. I seen the fixed shader for it but I am unsure what I would need to change to get the sky fixed..

    So far the fix is working but I believe since it is a heavily modded UE4 there are gonna be a few setbacks but all in all it looks really good..

    1. The sky fix is broken in 3.0 and 2.1. I have fixed it and will Update the fix to 3.1 in the near future adding some things i figured out too. I can check the game this week. What UE4 Engine is the tool?Or didnt you get the config tool running now? If not in the first place you should do the aa/ao things manually often this can cause issue if not applyed. Just go to the config folder of the game ans copy scalability.ini from the fix folder there. Than add the things from the eninge_additions.ini to the eninge.ini in the same config folder. Write protect both files there. But only in case the config tool is still not working. You can also try to install the game not in the x86 folder and try config tool again.

      But you really dont NEED the config tool.

      There is a Engine_additions.txt in the universal fix, and so also in the folder you place it.
      As well as Scalability.ini

      Identify the config folder your game is using. Often you can find it via google. Seems the config folder is in the game itselfe: .../GAMEINSTALLFOLDER/ShooterGame/Saved/Config/WindowsServer/ ??????
      add Scalability.ini here, if exist, overwrite. open Engine.ini if exist there and add the things from the Engine_additions.txt at the bottom. Save both files, add write protection to it. Than you have ALL things you have had done automatically if config tool would have been running correctely.

  51. Yes there has been many shaderhackers over the years.. Thnx for the tip on the stars.. I do have 2 issues and maybe you know about them or maybe they are Are specific.. 1 is there is a halo effect looking at objects with the water in the backround.. also there is a wierd double image sometimes when I mostly look down in Ark..

    I tried messing with all the option settings ingame but none of them had any effect.. I am wondering is this related to the TAA fix?? IF so the number that was set can it be changed to make the transition smoother?

    1. What taa fix? If you find a Shader in CS called taa...its not active since 3.0 im not sure about the PS. It hab also be object shaders that are not applyed because LG Skip reg ex. In 3.1 I will turn it on and make a toggle key. Best way to find out if your Problem os related to a Shader fix is to hunt in original mode. If there is a Shader which Switches the Effekt to ok, its a false pos fix. If this Shader for the effect is called skipobject its false skipped. You can try to remove the skipobject regex 1 and 3.
      Ill have a look at this game today. Was a bit buissi yesterday.

  52. the taa fix was in the scalibility.ini this right here: r.TemporalAACurrentFrameWeight=.0 ;helps preventing TAA ghosting, faster visual responsiveness....

    when I am lookin at the edges of an objedct you see a double image shadow of sorts. I thought the above taa fixed that but I guess it weas something else...

    the starfixfixed the clouds as well have not seen the night sky yet..

  54. yes I been shaderhacking looking for a fix.. there are 2 pressing issues, the halos around objects looking at the water and the Halo image when looking down and around but sometimes disapears real quick

    1. I have had a look @ this game. It's PRETTY OLD UE4-Engine (4.5.1.0)...Many RegEx will not match here but in general its all fixable. But many broken effects here using highest av. settings. May better on lower but this do not make things changing ref. the missing corrections needed. BUT i will not FIX this because I do not have any interest in this game and the time i have to spend would be pretty much for creating all the new RegEx just for this game or fix single shaders. SOORRY!!!

    2. Especially for very old versions of UE4, try the DHR Universal UE4 fix, as it will be closer in time to the game itself and might have a regex that matches the shaders better.

      Any regex that no longer matches shaders has probably been removed, because even missed ones will impact performance a bit. Losti- might be worth considering if it's worth keeping the old regex live or maybe different versions like the Unity Universal setup. I'd like to see every regex live in your master UE4 Universal, but have not profiled if this has a performance impact. Or might conflict with other regex. Just something to think over a bit.

    1. that is fine I will try and have a look. I put in an older UE4 fix and it did not work too well. it looks better with this ue4 fix currently.. I was wondering in 3.10 should the sky be fixed in Ark? I had it working the other day but now it seems broke again?

  59. The old fix is integrated ans improved. Having s game with EFECT reg from the old fix having many false pos shaders and huge Performance impact. Halo Shader is not Universal, reflections missing or at surfaces depth....If ne new fix will not work the old will not work für sure. The Performance on the current fix is Bad until shaders are cached but becomes better the more you play. Thats what to Deal with having one fix for all. The old fix also so not have any feature like HUD fix or Auto depth. This game so mit suffer from false pos reg ex, it suffer from effects all fixed in the current fix but need new RegEx to catch. The Performance is of course bot lower than with the old fix if more effects fixed but thats highest arround 10 petcent, game dependend. The skycloudes cannot neue fixed with the new fix. Only removed using white overlay fix. It can ne pushed into depth but having halo. Seen some times im games but i cannot fix this.

  60. It's strange but when I start 00_UE4-UniversalFix-2_Config.cmd in version 3.30 I get some kind of recursion (I even must restart PC to close cmd processes). Tested on Hellbound and Bulletstorm Full Clip Edition games

  62. Losti ive tried to force full screen but still not able to activate 3d although other games are working fine in 3d like outer worlds and green hellhell but the medium and mortal shell are not shown in 3d more?
    I fail to understand what wrong I am doing.using 425.30 version of nvidia driver

  64. wonderful work and a huge thank's for what you are doing for 3D and UT4 which is used in lot of games.
    it's so sad that unity (universal patch) on which is based lot of good games is no longer tracked / updated. small duplications persist and prevent enjoyment of these games.

  65. wow it's really become more playable. Now the gaming industry is clearly not moving towards 3d vision, and this is strange because obviously 4k and rays do not give such an impressive effect as 3d. Yes, 3d had problems, but they have become much less thanks to you.

    I have a question,is there any fix for filickrin shadows,textures after manually disable TAA in UE4 games? I have this problem with shadow in every ue4 games ,like Sword and Fairy 7,Huan-Yuan 7.....is there any shadow fix for this? Reaaly thaks for any tips or fix! Cheers!

  69. I tried applying the fix to Ace Combat 7 but it says Game Fix will not work. Re-install the fix, read the blog you missed something.

    Before this window, it tells me my driver is does not have 3D patched it. While it clearly does through 3DFM and your bringback3D program @Losti

  70. Hiya Losti, its Unity, I was hoping u would update the Terminator: Resistance with your new fixes and updates if possible? I'll donate to you for it. pls reply if possible as I'm replaying the game. So far no issues but since your universal fix is improving was hoping for an update. Thank u for all you do for us.

    1. Simply use the latest universal fix and get used to the configuration options. I have no time for a couple of months to do updates for fixes right now. But the new 9.00 may should do the HUD/UI switches i have added manually in this fix but not sure. Simply try the latest version and use the options i gave you from the OSD for HUD/UI depth customization.

I made a profile in 3dfix manager for kingdom hearts 3, then I installed the 3d fix that the program recommended, tried it and 3d vision kicked in but the stereo didn't, I'm using 3d vision 2 system by the way, then I just copied the files from your fix to the game folder and voila, I am playing Kingdom Hearts 3 in 3d .
    There is still some things to fix but so far this game looks gorgeous in 3d, thank you for all your work Losti, end everyone trying to keep 3d vision alive.

    I just have an issue with Call of the Sea that I need help with.
    I use GEO11 with RTX30xx, using direct_mode = nvidia_dx9
    And using this Unreal FIX_2_V9.04_20220718
    The game works perfectly nice, but when I pick up an object such as a letter to read, the whole screen becomes yellow until I put back the object.
    Do you know what may cause that and how to fix? I look at objects or solve puzzles because of the issue.

    1. I think that is most likely a bug in the DX9 output handling, or something related to conversion to DX9 colorspaces. I get this mega-bloom effect in other games also. Still looking into it, no ETA right now. I'm fairly sure this is only seen in the nvidia_dx9 mode, nowhere else.
