ReplyDeleteThank you very mush!
ReplyDeleteI tried it with the 3d off and it still crashed. So then I erased the the shaderoverride and played past the part it crashed, then reinstalled the shaderoverride and it worked.
ReplyDeleteIll have to see if it happens to anyone else. Let me know if it happens again.
Deletethe shadows on the characters look wrong. it hapens when the sunlight hits their bodies.
ReplyDeletereinstall nvidia driver then if it continues give me a picture.

DeleteSorry it didn't occur to me what you were talking about till now. Thats not shadows. Its motionblur. I forgot that I disabled it and didnt have instructions. Its on page now.

DeleteThen its not installed right.
DeleteInstall to.. ENSLAVED Odyssey to the West Premium Edition\Binaries\Win32\
Folder layout should look like..
ENSLAVED Odyssey to the West Premium Edition\Binaries\Win32\d3d9.dll
ENSLAVED Odyssey to the West Premium Edition\Binaries\Win32\dx9settings.ini
ENSLAVED Odyssey to the West Premium Edition\Binaries\Win32\psscript
ENSLAVED Odyssey to the West Premium Edition\Binaries\Win32\shaderoverride\
eqzitara everything is the proper place. but im missing psscript here: ENSLAVED Odyssey to the West Premium Edition\Binaries\Win32\psscript <----
Deletecould that be the problem? also i believe when i first got thw game i made some tweaks to the monkeygame.ini. would it be possible for you to upload yours? btw thanks for all your help replies. much appreciated.
Sorry psscript was a mistype.
DeleteOnly thing I can suggest is reinstalling your nvidia drivers.
here is my ini
https://s3.amazonaws.com/eqznew/enslaved/MonkeyEngine.ini
Eqzitara: Enslaved was just recently updated with a patch which now breaks the shadows, especially the self-shadows. The patch added where one can now change the resolution, gamma and motion blur within the options menu where before you had to make the changes in the .ini file that you outline above in your instructions. Could you take a re-look at the game again? Before the patch it was perfect but now it's screwed up again. Thanks...

I'll look.
DeleteNah, I see what happened. I thought so too at first.
DeleteYou got to restart game after settings change.
great work by the way. Also Deadly premonition came out today and it looks wrong. the 3d shows double images. how do you fix that?
ReplyDeleteI really wish there was a donate option.
ReplyDeleteWelcome eqzitara! Let me ask you ... You and your colleagues in the HELIX Mod - have learned how to make corrections to 3D, for DX 11 games? There comes a new generation of games. Today bought Battlefield 4 ... Unfortunately, the game does not have the status of 3D vision ready. Shadows, lighting fittings, HUD - are displayed in 2D ...
ReplyDeleteThank you for your excellent work!
I have no idea anything with DX11 tbh. Helix has however made a patch for bioshock infinite [its on nvidia forums]
Deletewhere do I look to get this patch

DeleteThanks a lot.
ReplyDeleteJust tried it for the first time. Surprised how cool it looks in 3D and how fun gameplay is.
ReplyDeleteFantastic work, just tested out the intro of the game and it looks amazing :D
ReplyDeleteFirst thanks for your Enslaved 3d fix. It's makes the game look gorgeous! Was wondering, could you possible also make the other hud elements also be positioned into the depth like you have the perks hud? If not it's no big deal. Thanks again for all the work.
ReplyDeleteNah, I wanted to but hud elements are seriously all over the place in this game.
DeleteMy recommendation is going high convergence with gameplay. If your character nearly matches the depth of hud it shouldn't bother you.
No problem... thanks for the fast reply.
DeleteWhat you didnt add final fantasy a realm reborn?
ReplyDeleteWhy didn't you?
DeleteP.S Spamming the comments section. Makes it 99.999% less likely to get a fix.
DeleteWhere is the patch for final fantasy a realm reborn?
ReplyDeleteAny future comments mentioning final fantasy will be auto deleted now.
DeleteTime to grow up.
Hi there,
ReplyDeleteJust tried the game and I'm getting weird shadows... Tried altering monkeyengine.ini, installed the files on the correct folder. Can anyone test it out please? Thanks
OK I figured out what my problem was. EVGA Precision X messes this fix up. With it turned off shadows look perfect.
DeleteThanks eqzitara :)
Thanks for letting me know.
DeleteHave fun.
Thank you yet again eqzitara! The 3D looks great in this game.
ReplyDeleteJust a quick question. When I finished the game and want to play the DLC do I have to overwrite the old files with the dlc ones? (shaderoverride folder, d3d9.dll, dx9settings,ini) ???
ReplyDeleteYes.
DeleteThank you eqzitara! The game looks great in 3D. This is about my 10th game thanking you for your excellent work -- keeping 3D gaming alive. You rock!
ReplyDeleteAfter pressing F3 or F4 how to adjust the convergence? I mean, I don't see any sliders or anything.
ReplyDeleteI notice a change in convergence if i press F3 or F4 once. For example if I press F3 and notice a change, if I press F3 again nothing will change, but if i hit F4 it will change to the other value (and vice versa).
To change cinematic depth/convergence. Click F3 then adjust, YOUR CONVERGENCE SETTING [DEFAULT KEY IS CTRL F5 or F6] THEN save with F7
DeleteTo change gameplay depth/convergence. Click F4 then adjust, YOUR CONVERGENCE SETTING [DEFAULT KEY IS CTRL F5 or F6] THEN save with F7
Then reboot game.
Also adjusting is not required. This feature is automatic.
DeleteThis is only IF you want to change it.
Game works awesome!
ReplyDeleteOn my system, Win 10 Pro v1803, I needed to use NVinspector and changed the profile to Mass Effect 2 for the 3d to initiate. Other than that, it works.
