Issues Remaining: Some minor issue on some menu screen/hud related.
I can't stress this enough, this game is amazing in 3D and is actually my second favorite 3D game I played this year. When it first came out I gave it a hard time because I am a huge XCOM fan and I really didn't give it a chance. Anywho, I picked it up again three months later and its just one of those games that 3D totally transformed for me and I decided to revise patch completely. Its kind of my fault that people may not try this game but if anyone tries this game out and likes this patch please let others know. I really think its a gem in 3D.

Please keep in mind I am only one person at helixmod and all donations will go only towards myself.
Thank you for your support.
Thanks a lot!!! This is a good example of finishing an unfinished game due to lack of support 3dvision. As always Helixmod is a crack on the subject! Thank you play in 3D is impressive and wins much graphically.
ReplyDeletePS: Please support 3D for splinter cell blacklist! also uses the unreal engine 3.

ReplyDeleteThanks Eqzitara, this is one of the best 3d games ever made,
ReplyDeleteReally appreciate your Awesome work,
I had a question when Im playing the hanger extension, the game switches to random blurry color lines screen and the whole game screen is invisible
Can you please see if there is a fix for the extension
Delete the psscript file. I dont think its really fixing anything I missed anyways. Should fix that issue.
Deletethanks so much eqzitara that fixed the problem,
DeleteYou don't know how much I appreciate your work man
God Bless you
If your still playing, wait a few days. I picked it up and am actually enjoying it now [stopped comparing it to xcom]
DeleteNew patch is comming.
Thanks again Eqzitara for picking it up and doing some awesome work,
DeleteI swear If I was working in Nvidia, I would hire you on the spot, you will just take the stereoscopic 3D to the next level,
Keep doing your amazing work and Im waiting for much more 3D fixes to come.
Thanks, man. I have wondered if this game is really as bad as everyone was saying (hell, I liked Duke Nukem Forever, whatever that tells you). I will keep an eye out for a sale...
ReplyDeletedrastic00
There is a sale right now on steam :P
DeleteWow, your fix makes the game look jaw-dropping in 3d and the game play is a lot of fun. Thanks for all the work you do.

It's awesome! I am finding the crosshairs a little messed. The circle one for the pistol was fine but then a V like shape got added and the different weapons started having crosshairs issues. Incorrect depth etc. Any ideas?
ReplyDeleteIll have to see if I can replicate it. Can try this [its a good guess for a solution]. Then I need to know what resolution/Fov/if you modified screen extents if not

ERR first step is reinstalling fix prior to that. [In case you missed my dx9settings.ini file which is needed for fix]
DeleteI added a new file that should take care of your issue.
Deletehttps://s3.amazonaws.com/eqznew/bureau/shaderoverride.zip
3d look stunning but i still have glooming shaders on characters when near light source. Especially the hat.
ReplyDeleteI saved the shaderoverride file in the win32 folder and did all the requirement. Can you help?
You do this?
DeleteGo to..\The Bureau\XGame\Config\Xengine.ini
Change
AllowNvidiaStereo3d=False
To
AllowNvidiaStereo3d=True
Otherwise I couldn't say without a screenshot.
C:\Users\...\Documents\NVSTEREOSCOPICIMG\
ALT - F1 in game.
Yes i did that.
DeleteI found out i had the same shader glitch even after deleting the shaderoverride file.
So it has to be an instalation problem on my end.
What am i doing wrong? I save the shaderoverride file in the win32 folder where the .exe is located. I extract the .zip file in the win32 folder...
Why is it happening to me? lol
Need a picture.
DeleteWait, nothings fixed with patch installed?
DeleteDid you set the game to DX9?
Regardless I need a pic.
DeleteYes it was the same thing without the patch.
DeleteIm trying to post a pic but dont know how :(
Nothing was fixed, or just this issue?
DeleteAlso check to make sure it doesnt happen in 2D [cause then its not something I can help you with]
Deleteshadows overall didnt seem to have depth and shaders on some objects, like aliens and tanks was like the shaders on characters.
Delete2d was fine, i have a very good system. I play a lots of games using your fix, DS2, skyrim and ACM. But Enslaved and this game it just feel like im doing something wrong with the instalation of the shaderoverride.
ReplyDeleteWhat happened in enslaved?
DeleteWell anywho,
DeleteMy guess is its motionblur with enslaved. Read the page and do motionblur = false

The bureau start up and press F3 if hud depth doesn't change fix is either not installed right. OR on games first start up you set it to DX11 instead of DX9
Thank you for the fix
ReplyDeleteHow do you start the game in dx9 ?
First time you launch it will ask you otherwise..
Deletesteam version
>Right Click the game in your Steam game list.
>Choose Properties
>Choose Launch Options
>type -dx9 in the box
>Click Okay and Close
Non-steam version
DeleteRight click TheBureau.exe
make shortcut
right click the new shortcut.
go to properties and append "-dx9" to the target field. Otherwise, if you have steam version, you can right-click on the game, click on properties->general->set launch options and add "-dx9" in the field.
should look like.
"F:\Program Files (x86)\The Bureau\Binaries\Win32\TheBureau.exe" -dx9
Thanks! That last one did the job. Game looks great. :)
ReplyDeleteI played through this game with the first patch, it was good enough to be enjoyed through the whole game.
ReplyDeleteI agree this was a really good game! I was though about to quit and never pick it up after the first 10-15 minutes or so, but then it just got better and better until the very end!
The "orders" component of the game is wonky for me (don't quite understand how to use orders and it really slows the game down) but amazing work on the patch - so many PARTICLES! looks great
ReplyDeleteShould try game at hard difficulty it feels better on hard imo. Decisions are slowed but it feels much more fast paced.
DeleteCan watch a video of me playing and maybe it will help. I generally use all my abilities right off the bat. So I have less damage/enemies on the field effecting me. Then I try to have allies focus fire same enemy while I try to take out others/possibly flank.

Just picked up the game on humble, thought I'd try it out since I saw the fix and it was weird to see such praise for it. I've only gotten past the first mission, but so far the game looks great and command system is really well done so seeing a great looking 3D game that's also got a new take on combat. I'm very surprised. Thanks for the fix :), I'll post again once I finish the game.
ReplyDeleteThe beginning is by far the worse but it surprisingly gets ALOT better and gets pretty tactical. The first mission is a slog cause you have like no powers. Then all of a sudden you are overwhelmed by bosses.
DeleteIve actually did two playthrus on commander.
Recon + Support is the most powerful teammates.
Support has an ability that doubles your damage for a time and can be combined with recon powers which are already powerful.
------------------------------
Its going to sound crazy but its one of my favorite 3D games.
Playing this game in 3d is amazing. A real gem of a game with tons of partical effects. Feels like it was made for 3d.
ReplyDeleteThanks to eqzitara for fixing this for 3d.
Just wish the devs would work out the Physx effects.
I have a I7 980 xtreme and a nvidia 980 TI and the frame rate drops to 10-20 when turbulance effects are on. With Physx off, 120fps.
Weird back when I had SLI 680's and last played this game I don't think I dropped below 90fps. Played maxed besides reflections
Delete1080P that is.
DeleteRight, now I remember I had one 680 and was running the physx just fine.
DeleteI had to manuelly replace the Physxcore.dll in the game files with a more updated version from nvidia just to get the game to start.
DeleteWord around town is that the physx is broke on the 9xx series cards.
Witcher 3 and others games in 3d with phsyx, work great.
Thats unfortunate. I actually really enjoyed the game. I beat it once on normal then twice in commander difficulty with no wipes. Easily one of my top 5 3d vision games. The physx was so gorgeous. Thats such a pity.
DeleteI guess a tiny perk is that you can probably run it at 4K with DSR.
DeleteIm talking to 2k support but they seem to be leading me down generic game fixes that dont work. Its def a Physx driver problem.
ReplyDeleteSo 2k just told me to turn off Physx. So much for a Physx fix. lol
ReplyDeleteIf your experiencing physx issues try this...
ReplyDeleteThanks for the reply Randomguy
Sora has given me a solution which I would need to test a bit more, but so far so good.
The solution is to copy this file here:
c:\Program Files (x86)\NVIDIA Corporation\PhysX\Engine\6FE164B5308A\PhysXCore.dll
to the Game's binaries folder.
e.g.:
Steam\SteamApps\common\The Bureau\Binaries\Win32\
For the next 48 hr this game is freeeee on Humble Bundle...!
