Really great game, this shadow/light vs real life theme is something new and the art style is nice..... Music and the female vocal (Laura Ellis) is really great. The game is really short btw.

ReplyDeleteHow do I get sweetfx to work with 3d games? I know some of them have the external_d3d9.dll_ wrapper = none at the bottom of the text fille, what about he ones that don't?
ReplyDeleteAt the top of the page is a menu item “Guides”. Read this one:
DeleteHow to install helixmod game fixes and other d3d9.dll mods
I’m not trying to do the RTFM thing. The guide is a good one.
Something to note is if you use MSI Afterburner or EVGA Precision to show FPS for many games you can’t do all three.
Helix+EVGA Precision = good
SweetFX+EVGA Precision = good
Helix+SweetFX = good
Helix+SweetFX+EVGA Precision = no go
FRAPS works with Helix+SweetFX
Can't get them to work using that method
DeleteIt works 99% of time and always works with UE3

can anyone tell me how to adjust depth/convergence with the migoto mod in bioshock infinite? the mod is nice but is useless unless the depth/convergence can be adjusted, and it defaultly locks the depth/convergence at the maximum, overriding any possible adjustment of it. unfortunately i have found no sufficient discussion of this issue..
ReplyDeleteI cant even load the migoto patch without crashing. Everyone seems to say helix's patch for BI is better though. Can try it here

looks nice, appreciated, seems theres some ghosting problem with it though,
DeleteGhosting?
DeleteLike from your display? No "ghosting" from broken effects should happen. You may want to play with your contrast/brightness setting. Especially if playing the newest dlc depending on your display [Its very "contrasting"]
Thanks so much for the fix! The game is awesome and my highlight for this fall... Great to be able to play it in flawless S3D :-)
ReplyDeletethis fix is perfect in standard 3D, but in 3D surround, in "hard light" areas, the halo is still there, and shadows are messed up. by "hard light" I meant that there are bright light sources. also, needs to reduce the depth to about 10% for the 3D view to work properly.
ReplyDeleteWhere is the .exe file,please?
ReplyDeleteI go to the folder of the game installed, but can't see any .exe file in it...:(
I found it :)
DeleteC:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Contrast\Binaries\Win32
Thanks for the great patch!
ReplyDeleteThis game looks awesome in 3d.
Thank you for this fix, DHR. Game still looks great.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for helping us.The game is great in 3d.
ReplyDelete@DHR: Probably you won't see this, but just played this game and had to thank you ever so much for fixing it. This game is genuinely charming and delightful, and the 3D added so much to the 2D shadow mechanic. Just brilliant. Thanks.
