The Dark Occult (DX11)


This game was originally named "The Conjuring House"
Very nice move from devs...LOL

Fix:
- Shadows
- Lights
- Reflections
- Lights Shafts
- Decals
- Disable DOF
- HUD

TB and SBS Mode (optional):
- The game support SBS/TB Mode using 3Dmigoto. Remove the ";" in the  ";include = ShaderFixes\3dvision2sbs.ini" of the d3dx.ini. Default TB Mode. F11 to cycle. Also remember to use "HDMI Checkerboard" in the NVCP to remove the 720p limitation.

Remove Motion Blur:
C:\Users\YOUR NAME\AppData\Local\The_Dark_Occult\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\

In the engine.ini:

[SystemSettings]
r.MotionBlurQuality=0


Instructions:
- Extract where The_Dark_Occult-Win64-Shipping.exe (The Dark Occult\The_Dark_Occult\Binaries\Win64)
- Start the game, when "Rundll32" prompt appear, press "Yes" (in Win10 this don't appear). This is for the Profile Override needed for this game. In Nvidia overlay you will see "3Dfix by DHR".

    Woks on The Dark Ocult? same game, but on Steam a name is The Dark Ocult.

      Depends upon what all they changed. If it's actually the same game, it should work. If they updated the graphics or shaders, then less likely.

      Worth a try, and it won't hurt anything to see whether it works or not.

    unfortunately it does not work.
    is the same game with different name.
    on Steam does not have the game "The Conjuring House" only The dark Occult
    the STEAM executable is: The_Dark_Occult.exe

    I tried renaming it to The_Conjuring_House-Win64-Shipping.exe, but it does not enter the game.

    The_Conjuring_House-Win64-Shipping.exe I only found a pirate ;(

      Is the same game....don't rename the exe. Devs change the game name on nov 1st.
      Just drop the files in the Bin64 folder, were The_Dark_Occult-Win64-Shipping.exe is located.

      I start the game from steam, so i don't noticed that they change the files names.
      I will update the post.

      Post updated.

      I finish the game before nov 1st so i don't see all those file names changed. I just put today the fix on the blog. What a stupid move from devs....changing the commercial name of the game just a few month later of the release.

      Luckily i finish the game before they decided to change the game name.....i start the game now and all my savegame are lost!

    some shaders are out on this new version of the game on Steam version. 1.0.9. 08/11/2018.

      What issues do you see? screenshot will be great
      I just test the 1.0.9 version and all is fixed...even HUD is not broken with the update.

      I changed shadows, Vry High to High.
      it is perfect!

      2560x1440 + shadows at very high
      1920x1080 + shadows at very high, work fine
