Tales of Zestiria

3D Vision fix for Tales of Zestiria, with extra hotkeys to disable some effects.

Fixed
- Shadows.
- Lighting.
- Battle area limit line.
- Water.
- Haloing problems (partially thanks to eqzitara for showing me how to fix one type in 2016).
- Sun position.

Installation
- Download this file and extract its contents in the "Tales of Zestiria" folder, where "Tales of Zestiria.exe" is. You will notice that there is a "visiond3d9.dll" file instead of the usual "d3d9.dll". This fix assumes that you are going to use the Tales of Zestiria "Fix" from Kaldaien (Special K). And I recommend that (it features 60fps, high resolution shadows, audio fixes, and more).
- Make sure you have installed the latest Tales of Zestiria "Fix" from Kaldaien: https://steamcommunity.com/groups/SpecialK_Mods/discussions/5/2741975115064741602/
- You need to make Kaldaien's fix load the 3D Vision fix. To do so, open "d3d9.ini" and add this block near the beginning of the file:

[Import.visiond3d9]
Architecture=Win32
Filename=visiond3d9.dll
When=Late
Role=d3d9

- Run the game. Remember to change convergence because Nvidia's default setting is extremely low for this game.

Hotkeys and features
F1: high convergence preset. Recommended for gameplay. If you manually change convergence after pressing this key and then you press F7, the value for this preset will be saved.
F2: low convergence preset. Recommended for cutscenes. If you manually change convergence after pressing this key and then you press F7, the value for this preset will be saved.
F3: HUD depth presets. Screen depth by default.
F4: cel shading toggle. Not disabled by default.
F5: depth of field toggle. Not disabled by default.
F6: specular reflections stereoization presets. Not used by default, and I don't recommend it much, because I couldn't find the proper FOV value to make it correct at all moments. One press and it will be suitable for normal gameplay. The second press is a lower setting intended for cutscenes. The third press disables this stereoization again.

  1. Lol - I was in for something unrelated and saw this >Haloing problems (partially thanks to eqzitara for showing me how to fix one type in 2016)

    Good to know that something I did still had a positive effect X years later and considering how much more advanced you are then I ever was.
