How install / start the game:
- use 7zip to extract game fix to ...\FactoryGame\Binaries\Win64
- please use this script 00_UE4-UniversalFix-2_Config.cmd or 00_UE4-UniversalFix-2_Config_EPIC.cmd to start the game
- special settings: nothing
- in case of startup crashes, try some of the Crash-Prevention modes given to you by the start-script
Auto-Fix-Update:
- enabled, if a fix update is available, you will receive an update using 00_UE4-UniversalFix-2_Config.cmd

DeleteGame is not detected when bought throug Epic Game store, if i change the folder name of the game from SatisfactoryEarlyAccess to Satisfactory the game will be detected but instead Epic Game Store will not launch it.
ReplyDelete3D vision is not working correctly for me now. I am getting the on screen 3d vision menu that pops up, tried cycling alt enter.
ReplyDeleteMy 3d vision light is on my emitter but the game is not doing 3d.. I am hoping that the recent windows update didn't mess anything up.. Anyone else having issues after updating windows version?
With latest update (update 4) i think this doesnt work anymore, the release notes say "Updated to Unreal Engine Version 4.25", and it previously was working, but is not working now, and isn't recognised by 3dfix manager.

ReplyDeleteOn start i get the following error message "Plugin 'WmfMedia' failed to load because module 'Wmfmedia' could not be loaded. there may be an operating system error or the module may not be properly set up"
was working fine before the update (no issue at all), now it doesnt show in 3d fix manager as a recognised game. when i try and start manually i get that error and it doesnt load, if i remove the fix completely and turn 3d off it starts/works in 2d,
I have tried downloading and using the latest universal fix but it always gives me the "Config Tool tell you OUT OF MEMORY error" i follow all the advice in the universal fix faq no20 to see if it works but it always gives that error no matter what steps i follow.
that is also the error i get with the original fix, i have installed the fix manually, aswell as using the existing 3dfm installed fix that was working.
Thank you very much for your great fix anyway, i really enjoyed this game and fix when it was working and i am a big fan of your work. you are very talented.

I was messing with this last night. I think the Satisfactory Devs may have moved some folder stuff around, not sure. I was able to get Satisfactory to show back up in the list in 3DFM by editing the profile and setting the "custom/game path" to ...\Satisfactory\Engine\Binaries\Win64. Also, I was having the same error messages as well trying to install the Universal fix, that is due to the same thing. Instructions might need to be updated because it seems like the universal fix needs to run from ...\Satisfactory\Engine\Binaries\Win64. That said, I wasn't able to get the game to run with "Satisfactory - 3D-Vision-fix - V1" or the "Unreal Engine 4 Universal fix 3.60" Can't wait to get my hands on the V2 fix
