  3. Hi guys! Have you tried to make a correction for HALO 2? There's a problem with guns in their hands, and lights. The game runs on dx9?

  4. Thank you! Love you guys!

And MindGameStudios guy, if you're reading this, I loved that you were holding a conversation with yourself in that Nvidia thread. I was rooting for you as I read it. Thank you.

  5. Just AWESOME!

Try the Panzer Dragoon flying level and it is way better looking than even SkyDrift!

  7. Yeah... this really turned out to be one of the most fun, beautiful 3D experiences I've had in a long time. The flight, especially, is so very exciting and intense. The sense of speed is mindblowing.

I played it in 3D split screen, and it works really well, although there are some unusual artifacts that seem to only appear on the second player screen. Haven't tried 4 player split yet...

  8. Hrm. I had tried the 2 player split screen on my laptop, and saw the artifacts. I just tried it on my desktop (which has a more powerful... well... everything), and saw no artifacts at all. I tried it 3 player split screen, and it was flawless. There was a little slow down on Galactic Parade... but I guess I should turn down some of the graphics settings... as they're all turned to max. split screen in 3D with max settings is a lot for a computer to handle, I guess. Still. It's so freakin awesome. you all need to get some friends together, throw on a buncha 3d glasses, and do some split screen action. You won't regret it!

  9. I know wrong game but cant find general comments. (sorry) Can you plaese attempt to make a 3d fix for sniper elite (V2 and Nazi Zombi Army)? in 3d vision the shadows are CRAP!!!! and the game is unplayable.
the game desighners opted for AMD3D which I think is crazy cause everyone else is using 3D Vision. Thanks in advance your buddy Nick

  10. Thank you! Been wanting to play this in 3D but the incorrect shadows were killing the experience for me and even made it hard to see at times. It's a shame you had to resort to stripping them though but I guess not everything can be fixed.

  11. Ok this is soo confusing. Ive never done this before, but there is no profile for Sonic All Stars in the Inspector program
so basically delete the Exe from the file and replace it by tying prototype.exe? then place the shadowoverride in the sonic folder?
because theres no way the Inspector program is detecting any of this.

Explanation of how to do nvidia inspector profile changing,

      Yes install to sonic folder.

  12. I think something might have changed in the latest driver. I just installed this fix. It seems to work, and everything looks good, but the water still messes things up. It has an effect like everything near and around the water ghosts like crazy.

  13. When I play mirror races the 3D is broken, is it possible to fix that ?

  14. Worth a try. Probably will require Nvidia hardware and you'll have to experiment whether you need to have 3D enabled in the control panel, even if you don't use it. You can have it enabled, but turned off in-game with Ctrl-T. You'd probably also want the shadows back, and can delete the shader file related to that.

  15. I'm a nvidia user launching through Steam. When I play the game without putting the executable under Prototype's profile, Nvidia 3d is detected and the game launches in 3D complete with the green text, compatibility mode on/off, ctrl-alt-insert on the bottom right confirming a 3D title is being played. But when I put it under Prototype, nothing displays when I launch the game indicating that the game was detected as having just been launched in 3D. My monitor/tv goes into 3D mode, but there is no 3D signal coming from the game! Funny thing is, this used to not happen. I played last year a lot and the 3D worked and the "green-text" always appeared when I launched the game and it even considered the game being played as being "Prototype"! All that's changes since then are bunches of nvidia driver updates for my gfx card and the massive update from Windows 8 to Windows X. So anyways, am I alone in this and are there ways to resolve it? Thanks anyways!

    1. i just ran into this. i got it to work by putting the profiles back the way they were to begin with (put ASN_App_PcDx9_Final.exe back in Sonic All Stars Racing Transformed profile) and putting the shader override in the .exe folder. basically skip the prototype profile step.

    2. I'm running into the same sort of thing where 3D isn't kicking in using the Prototype profile. 3D works when I keep it under the Sonic All Stars Racing Transformed profile, but I think the shaderfixes don't function. I'm seeing some painful water reflection effects and other 3D weirdness.

  16. I've had no issues with so many of these great mods. Unfortunately, I'm brand new to 3D Vision, and it appears those who have this working did so years ago...seems some of us late adopters are having issues with this game specifically.

Odd...I don't even have this profile (or a Sonic Transformed one). Lattice Technology XVL seems to be connected to this game's exe.

    1. Hello
i'm using steam version with 368.39/
the fix doesn't work and there is no profile with "ASN_App_PcDx9_Final.exe's profile [Or sonic all stars transformed"

what can i do please ?

      Delete
    2. You can likely also just add the game exe to the Prototype profile using NVidia Inspector. If there is a conflicting profile, it will complain, otherwise it will work. If it complains, you can see what profile is currently assigned to the exe, if it's not the ASN_App_PcDx9_Final.

If you haven't launched the game, it probably has no default profile assigned. If it's the Lattice Technology one, remove it from there first. You can see the list of exes on a profile in the green bar under game title when using NVidia Inspector.

    3. hello bo3b, i try to add the .exe to Prototype profile but there is a conflict.

'You can see the list of exes on a profile in the green bar under game title when using NVidia Inspector.'

    4. If you are getting a conflict with no obvious exes there, that suggests you driver installation is damaged. I'd try doing a clean DDU reinstall first.

  17. thank you for your answer.

i don't unterstand, i deleted Lattice profile :/ it's no more in the Nvidia profile inspector.
i already make a clean reinstall, several times, i always use DDU (and ccleaner), all is fine except for this one.

maybe something is on 'read only' mode but i don't know where exactly the profile are located.

    1. Try dumping all the profiles using 3D Profile Manager and see if the sonic .exe is in there somewhere. As a text file it should be possible to find out what the conflict is.

    2. i created the .txt , it's here : https://www.dropbox.com/s/fx0gxuvhtzgrwle/NVIDIA%20Profiles.txt?dl=0 but i don't find 'Sonic all stars transformed' oO

    3. This will all make more sense if you put in some time to understand how the tools work, instead of just following instructions. If you do that, it's liberating, because then you can solve problems on your own without having to wait for us to get back to you.

The way the profiles work is that they are attached to a given game by the game's .exe name. The exe name is specified by the game developer, and cannot be changed in the Steam case. Most Windows gaming is based off the exe name, so it's important.

In this case, the exe is named that crazy "ASN_App_PcDx9_Final.exe".

When we look in NVidia Inspector, there is no ASN_App_PcDx9_Final as a profile. That means it's attached to something else. Looking for "Sonic" shows a couple of games, but not this one. That means it's something else.

That's where we use 3D Profile Manager to export all of them. Doing a text search in that text file, I see that ASN_App_PcDx9_Final is attached to "launcher". "launcher" is sort of a dumping ground for generic games, and is slightly different than an automatically created profile.

BTW, it looks like this only happened in recent drivers, that changed it from a real profile that eqzitara described, to this "launcher". This is the essence of learning and experimenting. Stuff changes over time, breaking our previous setups and instructions.

So... if you use NVidia Inspector, you can find "launcher" and delete the attached profile like usual. Or, you can edit the profiles txt file, and remove that line and reimport the profiles. Then you can attach the now freed .exe to prototype.exe.

  18. after adding this fix I get issue in the glasses only the left work,
the right one doesn't it's just dark, without the fix I don't have this issue.
my version is the retail one so I renamed the exe game to prototype.exe.

just choose windowed/full screen instead of full screen in display option from the Launcher.exe
