Hi DHR!
ReplyDeleteThx for the fix! Btw I just succeeded in changing all occurrences of "nvapi64.dll" to "nbapi64.dll" programmatically via C#. I tested it for LEGO Jurassic World and LEGO Marvel Super Heroes. The Game exe still worked and 3D was fixed. So I guess it will probably work for other Lego games, too. Installation of Lego fixes will be more simple via 3DFM soon.
Very nice Paul!!! Thanks!! No all users can do that part without troubles.
DeleteOk I have automated installation of 18 LEGO Games now lol. For 4-5 LEGO games nvapi64.dll had to be replaced with nbapi. Game Exe was still working then. Checked all 3D fixes and only 1 fix was broken I think. But I'm not sure if this is due to Windows 10. I really started to hate the LEGO intros which are shown every time when starting the games... you cannot skip them >.<
DeleteHey DHR, you got me hooked on these things! LOL Looks like some more button mashing time when I get home in a couple weeks. Thanks Man :-)
ReplyDeleteThis LEGO games are really amazing....a lor of fun and looks nice! Enjoy!!
DeleteThank you so much for this.

ReplyDeleteHi! Just wanted to report a small issue I'm still having:
ReplyDeleteFlickering shadows on Harley (roller skates) – only in Smallville & Metropolis.
Her hair and hammer shadows flicker or disappear depending on angle/light.
I'm already using the Helix Mod fix, but it doesn't seem to help with this one.
Any idea for a shader tweak? Would really appreciate any advice!
For flickering, that is usually a result of z-fighting, where it's right at the edge of clip or no clip. You can possibly hunt the shader that you see flickering, and once you know which one it is, you can sometimes tweak the z location to bring it toward the screen by a tiny amount, which cures the z-fighting and fixes the flickering. You can see an example where I did this in The Surge.
