What This Mod Does:
- The 3D in this game was already 98% perfect out of the box. I just fixed a minor issue where the 3D was being applied unevenly in the Main Menu & Stage Selection screens.
- I added a high convergence toggle preset on the "Caps Lock" key and the "XBox Left Thumbstick button". Use this preset when inside a level.
- Also added an auto-convergence feature for the Inventory screen
Installation:
1) Download this ZIP file and extract it into the game directory
2) Run the game
3) In the Options, under PC Settings, change "Display Mode" to "Full Screen". (You may need to restart the game for the change to take effect.)
Other Notes:
- The convergence preset & assigned buttons can be changed in the d3dx.ini file
- I haven't beaten this game yet.
Thanks again for all the awesome Fixes 4EverAwake :)
ReplyDeleteOMG!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat Great Great! very good work 4EverAwake
ReplyDeleteThank you very much everybody, you are great.
ReplyDeleteWhen I press start in game the game closes. Don't know if I doing something wrong.
ReplyDeleteUnlikely to be related to the 3D fix. Does it run properly in 2D with no fix installed? Then does it also run properly in 2D with fix installed?
DeleteWould be worth doing a Verify on game files, and if that doesn't work, try doing DDU reinstall of your driver.
If that doesn't work, capture a 3Dmigoto log file and we'll take a look.
hi, i installed the mega man 11 helix dx11 fix so i can run the game at a higher refresh rate. with helix mod installed, i cannot use my xbox one controller in game. just wondering if anyone knows how to fix this.
ReplyDeleteHello, I can't seem to get my Xbox One Wireless (Elite 2) controller to work when using the fix. Any ideas?
ReplyDeletegeo-11 compatible!
ReplyDeleteThis game works perfectly with geo-11 3D driver. I installed the 3Dmigoto mod above, then the most recent geo-11 version (included in the "Devil May Cry 5" mod), by following the steps here: https://helixmod.blogspot.com/2022/06/announcing-new-geo-11-3d-driver.html
I had to reduce "distance" to "50" in the "d3dxdm.ini" file, so it would look good on my "Meta Quest 2", using "Virtual Desktop".
Only the hotkeys don't seem to do anything, but I didn't find it necessary to use.
Huge thanks to "4EverAwake" for creating the original mod!
