!!! Special thanks to masterotaku and Schwing !!!
Important Note:
- This fix only works on Windows 10 as it's currently not possible to make 3D kick in on Windows 7 / 8.
Installation
- Copy the contents of the Fix folder to your WoW Classic install path ( e.g. C:\Games\World of Warcraft\_classic_ where WowClassic.exe is located)
Graphics Options
- Use SSAO, Ultra Shadow Quality and Ultra Liquid Detail. MSAA is also required if you get character artifacting.
Hotkeys
- F1: Cycle convergence values
- F2: Zero Depth HUD + Mouse toggle (use this hotkey with your Map and Open Bags keybinds if preferable)
- F3: Character Screen convergence toggle (use this hotkey with your Character Info keybind if preferable)
- F5: Hold key to decrease HUD depth
- F6: Hold key to increase HUD depth
- F7: Hold key to decrease Minimap depth
- F8: Hold key to increase Minimap depth
- F10: Save your custom HUD and Minimap depth
- CTRL+ALT+F10: Reset HUD and Minimap depth
- F12: Mouse cursor depth on/off toggle (on by default)
Notes
- Change the overall depth of the HUD with F5 and F6 and tweak the Unit Nameplates / Health Bars to a comfortable depth then match the Minimap with F7 and F8 if needed. After finishing these adjustments press F10 to permanently save the configuration and have it by default the next time you start the game.
- Player model is offscreen in the Character Info panel. Use the F3 toggle to fix this with very low convergence.
- Other Shadow and Liquid Quality settings are not fixed.
- Stereo cursor is not working properly in the Character Select screen or when hovering over HUD elements. Use the F2 or F12 hotkeys when needed.
- HUD is not fixed but if you want to modify its depth, make sure to get rid of the default Minimap borders with an addon; other HUD elements like some nonessential Chat buttons can be removed with addons like Prat.
- Don't forget to change the hotkeys to whatever keys you find more comfortable.
Update 1:
- Fixed the skybox reflected in water during the night.
- Fixed lighting clipping in some areas.
- Updated screen-space and specular reflections for a more realistic look.
- Other small tweaks.
Update 2:
- Fixed cloud reflections being double stereoized in some areas.
- Fixed broken lighting in specific locations when zooming the camera.
- Fixed some weapon effects.
- Fixed Ultra High shadows.
- HUD convergence is now stabilized when customizing the HUD depth.

ReplyDeleteHi I have a problem with this fix. (WoW 3D not activating)
ReplyDeleteOperating System: Windows 7 64 bit, Nvidia driver 425.31 (Clean install Using DDU)
Monitor: BenQ2420T
Details: Game does not want to work in 3D (Monitor says 3D is on, however, Green light does not activate on Emitter)
Note: All my other Games are working in 3d (Diablo 3 ect,)
Does this have to do with Windows (fullscrean) mode (Since their is no real fullscrean mode anymore?)
Important Note:
DeleteThis fix only works on Windows 10 as it's currently not possible to make 3D kick in on Windows 7 / 8.

ReplyDeleteoh no... looks like they changed graphics engine for TBC Classic :( and some textures not in 3D
ReplyDeleteTrying to get it to work with "Classic Era" for 3d Vision. I have not had much success so far. I am trying to get a computer setup so my daughter can have some "eye exercises" with her vision condition Amblyopia and 3d Vision seems to really help so I am hoping to get a Classic Era (circa 2022/2023) update. If not I will try to get the retail version up and running. Cheers!
