How to make make things working:
PLEASE ENSURE you are using a 3D-Vision-SUITIBLE Driver Setup! To proove or achieve, I suggest reading + using this:
- Alternatively: 3D Fix Manager
1. INITIAL-Setup (only needed once):
- INSTALL the fix with 3DFM
- or download it from below and EXTRACT the archives files to the game install folder: ...\GAMEINSTALLFOLDER\bin
- right click the WatchDogsLegion.exe, choose properties, to to the compatibility tab, check "Run as administrator" and "Disable Fullscreen optimization"
- NOTE: I found the game to be extremely "RAM hungry". Performance is not he best jhere for this game out of its box. You should also follow this guide for optimization of WDL: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T8Vu0j5WJO4
2. Starting the Game and Ingame-Setup:
- START the game using the start.cmd, or as usual BUT: add "-BattlEyeLauncher" (without "") to your launchers options
- you may need to wait up to 15 min if you run the game for the first time!
- The game may have HUGE INPUT LAGS the first time and while loading (NEW) areas (because of shader caching) ....its getting better the more you play.
- Set FULLSCREEN in the game options.
- If 3D will not work, try ALT+ENTER and ALT+ENTER again, or STRG+T
- Additional In-Game Settings:
- Enter the ingame options and choose the ULTRA graphic preset! <-- MENDATORY, if you do not do this, you experiance massive HALOS, no matter what you manually chosse!
- Restart the game, if the game suggests it, press OK, if not, restart manually!
- Returned to the game you can set your desired settings manually, DO NOT do this via the graphic presets!
- Do not choose Shadows lower than "VERY HIGH"
- Everything else is up to you, but i suggest this for not noticable disadvantages and higher FPS:
- FXAA, other settings here can have light flare clipping
- FOV: 70 (you can rise this but this highly afflicts performance!)
- Geometry: "VERY HIGH"
- Environment: "HIGH"
- Texture Resolution: "MEDIUM"
- Texture Filter: "HIGH"
- Shadows: "VERY HIGH"
- Spotlight Shadows: "2 cars"
- Reflections: "ULTRA" -- NOTE: Minor issues her but lowering to HIGH or below will give you FAKE reflections that are much more "uncool"
- DOF: OFF
- Motion Blure: OFF
- BLOOM: ON
- AO: ON
- VOl. Spread: "HIGH"
- Adjust HUD/UI Depth that is not auto controlled by "NUMPAD *" and "NUMPAD /"
- Use "#~" (EN-keyboard) / "°^" (DE-keyboard) / "XB_GUIDE" for low convergence mode
- Choose convergence by "." and ","
- Adjust Minimap symbol depth by "NUMPAD -" if its slighty out of depth and ot bothers you
4. Problems?:
- PLEASE provide detailed information about the ERROR you got, as well as information about your hard (GPU) and software (driver/windows version) setup
- PLEASE provide a save-game and an instrcution to see your problem there to rauti@inetmx.de / Discord or @ a MTBS thread

wow, looking exquisite! phenominal work! You definitely need "-dx11" when running this game in the start.cmd. Thanks Losti!
ReplyDeletethanks.your work makes me buy games. Without 3d vision, the game looks mediocre. rtx is generally some kind of deception. only 3D vision makes the games impressive
ReplyDeleteYEAH, please enjoy!!
DeleteAmazing fix, great job!

ReplyDeletethank you so much for doing this brother. Long Live 3d gaming~~~~~~~~~~
ReplyDeleteThe game crashes before and after the fix
ReplyDeleteAnd it still runs at dx12.
Any fix ? ❤
You can't use DX12, we don't have any fixes for that. Use DX11. Also if it crashes on DX11, be sure you are running the Schwing hack and driver 452.06.
DeleteStart the game without any fix. Set it to dx11 in game graphic options. Than install the fix and start it via start.cmd.
Deletesorry but can anyone make video for this pls
ReplyDeleteI have only DX12 & whenever i switch to DX11 the game restarts and its on DX12 again, btw does this work for AMD cards ?
ReplyDeletesame
DeleteLooks great! There is one issue it seems when using the controller. Pressing start button for menu forces "low convergence" mode and pressing the guide button (or other keyboard shortcuts) does not cycle back to normal convergence mode. Unless you restart.
