Castlevania Dominus Collection

geo-11 fix for Castlevania Dominus Collection. You could say it's a 4 in 1 fix, for Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin, Order of Ecclesia and Haunted Castle Revisited. The screenshots above show each game.

Fixed

  • 3D extracted out of the "z" priority of sprite and background layers of the Nintendo DS games. Custom depth applied for some textures. More that can't be done because of texture hash conflicts.
  • 3D layered texture by texture in Haunted Castle Revisited. 207 textures placed at custom depth levels.
  • Automatic detection of Order of Ecclesia, which needs a much different "z" stereoization internally.

Installation
  • geo-11 fix (with build v0.6.198): download this file and extract its contents in the "Castlevania Dominus Collection" folder where "game.exe" is. Remember to edit "d3dxdm.ini" to change your "direct_mode" to the output you need (and/or upscaling or the default dm_convergence). It's sbs by default.
  • Run the game. It runs on a window by default, so remember to alt+enter for fullscreen. If you use upscaling = 1 in d3dxdm.ini, do the alt+enter too to fix some weird lines across the screen.

Hotkeys
  • 1 (not from the numpad): convergence presets (0.001, 0.5, 1, 2, 2.56, 3, 4, 6). 2 by default, which is a normal level for all the games.

Notes
  • The original Haunted Castle is 2D. It's an emulated arcade game that doesn't expose textures or any layers in shaders.
  • The games run at a very low internal resolution, and layers can't have less distance between them than one of their big pixels, so depending on the convergence you use, some layers that are very close to each other may or may not stick together.
